good tool to have.
This is helpful in running down parasitic drain. It won't tell which component is drawing current when the vehicle is off, but at least it narrows down the search. Most newer vehicles have things going on after you turn off the key, but anything over about 50 milliamps can run the battery down overnight. Especially in arctic temperatures like we have here.

Good but not 30 amp
Device is top notch. I removed one star because readings over 20 amps are limited to under 60 seconds. To me, that makes it a 20 amp device with an overamp protection, not a 30 amp device. Also, the pouch they refer to is not as good as a ziplock in durability. I keep mine in the enduser sales case.

Handy for parasitic draw measuring moderate loads
Good tool for monitoring moderate draw accurately, is also strong enough to check blower motor and lighting circuit draw quickly by plugging in place of fuse. Would be nice if tool came with resettable circuit breakers, you need to plug the removed fuse in the tool to complete circuit. Works very well
