Disappointed
I needed two data center grade hdd and finalized this product. The reason for selectong was because of cloudtail is amazon's subsidy and expected good quality. I ordered two disks. They arrived before promised date. Now regarding the product. Both packaging and product quality disappointed. Packaging was so bad and almost no filling materials inside the box. Fortunately i could not see any physical damage to the HDDs. Next on product quality. First disk did not even work and system through lots of errors. Could not even format the disk. Second disk was detected by system. Then upon restarting system BIOS ahowed S.M.A.R.T errors. I could not format the disk reliably with this errors. Surprisingly both disks were manufacutred in May 2017 and sticker displayed "NEW", which made me suspect that why WD will print "NEW" for new harddisk as they are not selling refurbished as far as i know. My confidence on Amazon shattered now. Triggered replacement for both the drives and scheduled pickup by tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get really new product 2nd time. Will update once some progress happens.

Fake HDD delivered RE instead of Gold pure wastage of money and time.
Do not buy it from "wholesale IT hub" they will deliver RE instead of gold version of wd and they won't even mention it on the bill so you can't return it easily, and even the RE version of their hdd looked fake.
