VTech Musical Tambourine

I received this as a baby shower gift before my son was born and he is finally old enough to play with it now. I just gave it to him yesterday and after dropping it in the ground once it is already broken. Customer service couldn’t care less. After 3 months of purchasing they won’t replace it, so unless your child is ready to play with it TOMORROW, cross your fingers nothing breaks. Let everyone know not to purchase for shower gifts or in advance. Terrible policy. Second, they had the nerve to tell me that because my son dropped it, the warranty was void anyway. My 9 month old DROPPED a BABY TOY, and it’s his fault it broke? Has anyone on their design team ever met a baby or watched one play? If it can’t hold up for more than a day, that’s YOUR fault VTech, not mine. Insulted and disappointed.

I got this toy for my 4 month old and he loves it! We have to hold it for him but the lights and sounds entertain him. A lot cheaper priced at walmart.

I saw this item at a friend's house and my baby was instantly attracted to the lights and tunes. It doesn't play music all the time, you have to push the little star to make it "go", which is good as its less annoying than some other toys. It is a little heavy, so supervision for babies still on their backs is def necessary. small item, so easy to pop in changing bag. Two settings for the sound, so that is good when maybe in waiting room and you don't want to disturb others. Love it.

I don't see an age recommendation for this product but it's a baby product! I bought it a few months ago. Now my 9 months old chewed it to pieces. I found a small cylinder in his mouth and a screw and a small piece of plastic in the seat of his buggy where he played with it. Totally unsuitable for babies and young children.

What I wanted.

I bought this as an educational toy for my baby. It doesn't really shake like a tambourine and you have to press the star button for it to count. She is a bit young at five months but I'm hoping it will be useful when she is older.

My baby grandson loves this its a little small and when it arrived I thought a little expensive for what it is. It si good quality though and my 6 month old grandson loves it, he does keep hitting himself with it though!

An excellent toy, great for keeping baby entertained whilst having a cuddle. Now he's a bit bigger, he'll play with it for ages on the flor too. It's the one "must-have" that goes everywhere with us....(it does have a "quiet" button!!) Highly reccomended.

Great product

My 7 month old grandson loves it. It is easy for him to handlke and easy to get a noise out of. He is teething and finds there are several parts he can get in his mouth for a good old chew!

my baby loves it v much. so that i hand it over the car head rest so that it can hang down. despite upside down, the colours and sounds delights him v much.

I got this for my 6 month old grandson and he seems to like it.It does quite a bit and seems well made. The singing could get annoying for some peoplebut I like it.

I bought this for my 6 mth old baby boy and he loves it, very nice and colourful great build quality as ever with VTech toys. I would recommend this toy.

My 6 mth old son loves this. It captured his attention from the very start and he happily plays with it both at home and when he's in his pram. There are two volume levels and it has enough different jingles and sounds to keep him enterrained! The singing voice is also clear and engaging,

Good toy but not very loud. Had to send one back because it didn't work. Replacement works but I wouldn't buy it if I knew!

have to constantly hold this whilst my grandson holds it as he trys to shake it and it is solid and hurts as he hits his face and head. I wouldnt recommend it

Like pretty much all of the VTech products, its fun, well made, and durable. No complaints here.
