So Far The Best Cell Phone Car/Truck Holder/Charger I Have Found After 10 Years Of Buying Holders
This is one of the best cell phone holder for my pickup truck.1. It securely tightens into the extra large pickup truck cup holders. Most car cup holders are too small and don't tighten and thus wobbles. This one can be tighten and doesn't wobble.2. It has an extender arm to raise the height of the cell phone. This is particularly important for pickup trucks where extra height of the phone holder is a safety issue.3. The ball joint for the cell phone holder is especially important so that I can get the right angle to view the cell phone without glare or reflections.4. The wireless charging feature is especially convenient and I don't have to keep plugging and unplugging the charger wire every time I take the phone with me. I have a Note 9 that is housed in a rugged case (similar to an Otter case). As a result it is much thicker than a bare phone. However, it does not interfere with the wireless charging and fits well into the holder.5. The automatic closing and opening mechanism works very well. The only issue is when there is no phone in the holder, the sun can play tricks on the sensor and it could open and close several times when you drive or until you unplug it.6. I travel frequently and I take this with me on trips. It is not very compact but folds better than its competitors products. But it is still worth taking on trips and using in my rental cars.7. The stem swivels easily so if my passenger wants to see the screen, it can easily be turned for viewing without removing the phone from the holder.8. Only downside is that it uses one of your car cup holders.OVERALL: This is a very convenient, practical and safe way to use your phone for navigation with Waze or Google Maps Highly Recommended.

Great concept, but broke after 3-4 uses.
When first installed it worked OK, although the auto-clamping sensor is too sensitive and opens and closes constantly if there is not a phone in it to satisfy its hunger for something. I ended up putting a business card over the sensor to keep it quiet until I put my phone in it. Unfortunately, after just a few uses the adjustable base no longer works and the arm lifts out and separates if you try to tighten it at all. So know I have a wireless charger that won’t mount anywhere. I don’t mind Chinese made products, but I wish someone would break the trend of making the absolutely cheapest product possible and use their innovation instead to make a quality product for a few bucks more that feels solid and will actually last. Planned obsolescence is something we really need to move beyond. Our planet can’t handle any more plastic garbage![update 8/25/20] I contacted their support via Amazon requesting a replacement as it has a 1-yr warranty. They replied quickly and are sending a new unit out. So, customer service seems to be quick and efficient so far. I will update again after trying the new unit.

Broke after 3 weeks...
This phone holder broke after only 3 weeks of using it. It constantly opens and closes if my phone isn’t in it... I mean constantly even without motion in front of it. That’s probably how it broke. Only one of the sides moves in and out now. Very disappointed in this purchase.

Quite satisfied with my purchase!
My last phone (iPhone 6s) lived in battery cases its whole life. It still developed a problem with its charging port, and I recently had to upgrade the phone. I took a couple of months, but finally got a Qi charger for home and car. It is nice.Lithium batteries are funny. They decay fastest above an 80% charge. Phone manufacturers don’t let you cap the charging the way you can with a Tesla. Having something I can easily drop my phone into without fear of running it down during the day makes me happy. I move the phone close, the arms open, and it grabs the phone 2 seconds later.I’d like a little more time, perhaps, but by and large this is great. I’ve been using the cup stand, although have the air-vent holder connected for whenever I want to try it. The phone is visible and relative stable while still being adjustable.——Update: I’ve been using it almost a year and a half now. It’s been pretty rock solid. Sure I’ve knocked it a couple of times, but if you’re not an oaf banging it constantly, it will hold up quite well.Great value, and actually came back to buy a few for friends only to see they aren’t making it anymore. 😟

Broken Base after 7 months use. Purchase August 2020
Was working well and charged phone rather quickly but the overall sturdiness of the holder was not very impressive!Today, I needed to adjust or tighten the holder within the cup and that is when I found it would no longer tighten? The dam thing feel apart inside and on top of the base. Found the gears broken, sloppy and would no longer adjust!! 7 months!! I should have known better, cheaper is not always better! I also found several reviews that shared the same problems and some with pictures!! I wish I noticed those sooner but some of these were also purchased around or during the same month I bought mine, coincidence? I wonder?

Cup holder useless in a few weeks
Installed it (cup holder) and haven't been driving hardly at all. Had it less than a month. One of the bottom screws, that adjusts the width of the base, just came undone, like it's stripped or something. First turn you take the whole thing falls over. The qi charger is working, and the phone gripper is fine... But the primary reason I got it has failed. Bummed.

Utter junk! Look elsewhere for your wireless charging needs.
What weird rating features for this - suction, adhesion, security? What about holder durability and adjustment range, charging effectiveness, motorized clamping? These all sound more appropriate to the device to me. Anyway, within days I had troubles getting it to wirelessly charge my phone no matter the position in the holder. Then the motorized clamping device started to act up - it would not detect my phone was coming in for a charge and open when I needed it but falsely opened and closed when it wasn't needed. Now the cup holder stand came apart and can't be securely seated. I'll try gluing it but suspect this is headed for the garbage.
