OMG! I’ve been wanting a good cinnamon roll for ages but they were all sub-standard. This cinnamon babka is everything I’ve been looking for: strong cinnamon flavor, with yeasty, moist, chewy bread. You must try it!

Well, I have say I’m not from the east coast and truthfully up to last year, I had never even heard of babka cake. I tried it on a whim and now I’m hooked on it. But I also don’t have anything to compare it to. So, from what I’ve had so far I’m a believer . I love it!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This was delicious. Fresh, well made, packaged nicely. I've never had Babka before, and I had no idea what I was missing.

While site states “baked daily,” this babka is very dry, not fresh. I warm it in the microwave oven which refreshes a bit.

This is a mass produced item with no taste or flavor. If you are from the east coast, you know what a chocolate babka should taste like. If you are from the east coast, you MUST have seen the Seinfeld Episode, The Dinner Party, where the 4 friends are off to a dinner party, but Elaine insists they stop at a bakery and bring something. She wants to bring a chocolate babka, but the last one is sold to the lady standing in front of her in the line. The person behind the counter offers her a cinnamon babka instead, but Elaine laments, "I can't bring cinnamon babka, it's lesser babka!" And it is true. And this is not a freshly made east coast babka. It will not do in a pinch or a hurry, so just plan ahead so you can get a real chocolate babka from the east coast.

It's not bad. I suppose I was hoping to be really impressed as it came from a bakery named Stern's. They do an admiral job securing and wrapping it in an effort to ensure freshness. If it wowed me, I would definitely order again. Alas... it's just okay.

Fresh and very tasty.

Very dry. If you microwave for 30 sec. with butter it is edible.
