This is a very strong and sturdy pole, so far, zero issues...

Compared to most pool store poles, this one is much thicker and seems more sturdy. Even though it has 2 connection points (where sections 'clip' into each other) this pole does not bend under pressure like the others. When lifting a leaf rake net full of wet leaves (which is pretty heavy) this pole stayed rigid. Time will tell, of course, but after going through a new pole about every two years (mostly because they bend out of shape from raking the 10' deep end) so far I am very impressed with this one!

I have a 24 ft x 16 ft. backyard pond. This reaches the entire surface so I can easily pick up leaves and straw that are floating in my pond, relieving my skimmer system as much as I can.

Edit: Poolwhale has refunded my purchase. they stood by their product and i must give them credit for that. i have changed my review to a 3 star to reflect that. Used for roughly 6 months. the clamp mechanisms slipped from time to time, annoying but not a deal breaker. using it today, it buckled and snapped. thin aluminum, cheaply made. cheap to buy, worked for a little bit. was it worth the money? i got 6 months of use, i'd say no. i think i will pay the money for a protuff. i wish i had when i bought this pole. buy once, cry once. i wouldn't recommend this pole, unless you can't afford anything else. even then, i think i would say to save your money for a decent tool.
