Great purchase
The work amazing!! I used the tape to glue the to the front and back door of my place and they have stayed up with no issues. The sound is great . Loud but not annoying.

Best Non-ADA product ever!
(Purchased with Assisted Living Alert Pager set) My nonverbal, non-mobile, wheelchair bound brother and my 90yr mature mother live with me. I have been looking for a devise that would alert me when either of them are in need of assistance in the middle of the night, in the bathroom or just watching tv. Most baby monitors do not have the range, nor could I keep the volume on since they snore, loudly. We have a semi open floor plan but we also have steel beams running through our structure that cause interference for most products, I was expecting it not to work. This system is perfect for these concerns and for us, a longer range than quoted. Each of these products is expandable and able to integrate allowing for personalization, even more so than the product listing described. You are bound to find a ring tone out of 52 and a volume level (soft to loudest) that is not irritating. This devise looks great and is compact. Ease of pairing and installation, fabulous price point, WOW! No, I did not receive this product free and I was not paid for this review, just excited about the product. I am looking forward to adding a portable wireless caregiver monitor when available. Oh Yeah, I am certain it would be a great doorbell as well. My entire family is putting TWO THUMBS UP!

I ordered a few of these after the Honeywell systems failed me. I'M KEEPING THESE!!!
I've ordered 3 wireless doorbell systems around the 20-40 dollar price range. I'm keeping these. Pro: -Range, I have a long house with lots of walls and even more electronics (I have a gadget obsession, currently where I'm typing this, I have probably around 100 devices within arms reach from controllers, to retro handheld emulators, to speakers, to 4 or 5 phones, you get the picture, GADGETS EVERHERE, interference nightmare. I plugged the receiver where I'd keep it under my bar counter, and tested it. The last one I tested failed when it hit my bedroom at about 50ft away from the receiver. Then I went into my office, which is another 40ft away since it's on the other side of my master bath (it's a tubular shaped house). Still worked, might have increased the delay from less than a second to a full second. -No dropped presses. Actually, the exact opposite, you can be that annoying person and spam the button and it registers every button press starting the chime over. -The two receivers are set up one by my bedroom and one in the kitchen. When you press the doorbell, sound comes out of both receivers, where the other I tried only let sound come out of whatever receiver the doorbell was closest to. So, if I'm in the bedroom, I don't have to worry about not hearing the doorbell from the first front door. Cons: -Only one, doesn't get loud enough for my house, may be loud for you but I have a bit of a hearing range issue and this is in an awkward zone for them. So, the louder they can be the better, though luckily the multiple receivers means I can rectify that issue. Conclusion: The fact that you can spam this doorbell and it works in that manner makes these a winner, since it shows off how quick and responsive this is. Also that range, where others have failed, this prevailed. I recommend them. I bought them to replace the GOD AWFUL Honeywell system with its THREE SECOND DELAY. These were cheaper, easier to set up, and I have the outlets to sacrifice to them. I ordered another pair to see if they share the same frequency and I could put one near my backyard so I can hear it from outside as well.

GOOD SYSTEM - GOOD MELODY CHOICES
I had recently bought 2 different wireless annunciater systems. One was from a company I won't bother mentioning. The second system was from STARPOINT (SADO). The first system had that continually annoying problem of having RIDICULOUS sound choices: from telephone rings through horse whinnies, dogs barking, to bugles sounding CHARGE! When they did give actual melody choices, they sounded like a cheap battery-operated play-toy for toddlers. I have a very elegant house that unfortunately was not originally installed with doorbell circuitry. But that certainly did not mean I wanted to cheapen the house with these tacky, tacky sound choices. Originally, I had considered GUTTING the system to get the RF trigger system (which worked well), and have it operate a true motorized mechanical chime. STARPOINT not only had FAR BETTER tone choices, they actually posted the available sounds to listen to, BEFORE I MADE THE CHOICE TO BUY (see the Technical Specs link in the product description). So with STARPOINT, there were no disappointing surprises, after getting the actual product. The RF wireless system they employ is solid and reliable, with very good medium-distance range (see specs). Truthfully, I wish STARPOINT had a longer-range version of this system - I had to buy a different SECOND system with longer RF range, then DIY self-wire that unit (which had lousy sounds) to the STARPOINT system, just to get STARPOINT's superior sounds to operate over longer distances (1000+ feet). The STARPOINT system is available in white or black colors, and can be freely set up with a large number of receivers/transmitters. It is also very reasonable in cost. All in all, I think this is a very good buy.

I was looking for replacing my current wireless door bell(Heath Zenith) that inherited from previous owner of the house and stop working. I was looking at the review of any Heath Zenith wireless door bell product in Home depot web site but has mixed reviews. most of the complaint for this brand wireless door bell product is coverage distance. I started looking for wireless door bell product in Amazon, and found this product that has excellent review from most of the people. I am living in duplex building second floor. it is 55 feet long shape building. I put my first trans meter button on front door of the house and put ringer in the kitchen which is located far back of the house. The distance between door bell and trans meter button is over 50 feet. It works without any issue at all. Since it is long shape building, I put the second ringer in the hallway more closer to front of the building. The pairing and selecting ring was very easy. I put second button in the basement entrance and select different ring sound. It is the best wireless door bell that I ever had.

Why sell units overseas that do not fit the local power points or grid. Having an adaptor would make it sit too proud from the wall.

The ghost of Steve Jobs refused to allow me to give this doorbell system five stars even though I wanted to do so. It works beautifully well as far as "ringing" when the button is pushed by arriving guests. Mind you, our house is not big, so the distance is far less than the estimated maximums for the system. That said, because of thick brick and block walls, other systems used previously have been spotty (ringing sometimes, sometimes not). The first drawback is relatively minor: selecting a "ring" from the 52 stupid options. It would be this process that would have had Steve Jobs screaming in frustration... to have to cycle through each option one at a time, and not have the ability to go back one option if you happened to miss the one you wanted is just shy of insane. However, once completed, once a "ring" has been selected, the units operated beautifully. I purchased a separate battery operated receiver directly from the company. Nice to have the option of taking it into the back yard, or wherever, when you are expecting guests. Loudness settings (4) go from way too soft for my ears to waking up the dead loud. The second drawback is a little more annoying and long term (Steve Jobs would never have accepted this!): the plug-in-units block enough of the second receptacle that only a regular plug-on-a-wire can be used in it. The electrical plug blades stick out on the back of the receiver more-or-less one third the way down, and this partially blocks the second "plug" in any household receptacle.

This kit works exactly as advertised. I have a very long house and my home office is 40 feet (and 3 doors) away from the main entrance. Working with headphones almost all the time, I just couldn't hear the doorbell before. Now, I've got one of these receivers right next to my home office, and the second one is plugged in at the top of the stairs so that even if we are downstairs, we hear the bell loud and clear. Programming is exceedingly simple and, I have to admit, just plain fun. I think the wife, the daughter and I must have spent an hour trying out different combinations (since each button can have its own specific ring on each receiver) and positioning the receivers so that we could hear them throughout the house. To boot, about an hour after we had settled on the final rings and locations for the receivers (and pranking each other by ringing the doorbell repeatedly), we were all sitting downstairs watching a movie on TV and lo and behold, the doorbell rings and we heard it over the home theater system! Great buy, really... and no, I don't work for SadoTech and haven't been paid to write a rave review... :) One thing I would improve is providing a list of the 50-some rings (and songs) that are available and a way to jump from one to the other easily so you don't have to cycle through all of them (and sometimes go past the one you wanted, so you have to cycle again). But really, for the price, this is a great little piece of technology.
