Amazing quality, works perfectly every time and the easiest kitchen item to clean by far. Also great for making toasted sandwiches and grilling things if you want. I liked it so much I got two! Top marks for this (and I am not a person who is easily pleased!)

Brilliant for making pancakes

Great device, does crepes really well. Size is decent, it's great value and easy to clean. It heats up pretty quickly as well. Only issue and why it doesn't get 5 stars is that it tops out on setting 5 at about 180 degrees C. This makes the cooking time a bit too long. Crepes should really be cooked at 210 degrees C. If we start doing a lot more, it could be come a problem, but for now we will manage.

I had researched crepe makers for several weeks - not to make crepes but Welsh Cakes. It needed to be one that the hotplate would have an even heat all over which this does, and then when I read the reviews for this one, another reviewer said it was great for Welsh Cakes. I received it yesterday and made my first batch today. Brilliant. So easy compared with the electric skillet I had struggled with for years which would be hotter in the middle and cooler on the edges. I thoroughly recommend it for Welsh Cakes. Don't know if I will ever use it for crepes.

I can’t recommend this product enough; use it all the time for pancakes, crepes and omelettes and it’s literally perfect every time. Easy to clean and quick to heat with a good level of different settings. If you’re thinking about buying just go on and do it!

Fantastic I’m using it to make welsh cakes great value for money

Really pleased with this purchase. The hot plate stands off from the base so it's easy to clean and the base doesn't get hot. That said, the base is plastic so doesn't conduct heat. I use it for crepe, pancakes and omelettes and they come out perfect every time. The non stick plate is very easy to clean and the temperature adjustment is a nice feature to not overdo the omelettes. I've also used it for fried bread but don't tell the cardiologist.

I've bought two of these, the first one broke after a few months of use, the button on it broke and when we contacted the manufacturer to get a spare part they told us to get a refund and buy another so we did. So far the second has been working fine, but haven't had it longer than a few months either. Overall it has been a fantastic buy, apart from breaking! We use it weekly to fry pancakes on and it has been a game changer as instead of standing over a frying pan I can put this on the table and the kids can see them cook and we can all sit down and eat together which is much nicer. It frys American style pancakes the quickest and best, you can fit 3 at a time on it and they cook super fast and perfectly. Crepes take much longer and are fiddly to work the utensils to get them flat. I usually just pick the pan up and swirl the mixture around on it like a frying pan and it works the best. Overall this is great but only giving it 3 stars as it broke and I don't know how long this one will last before the same thing happens. I would have tried another brand but this was the only one available at the time.
