I've tried so many makeup remover balms. I started using this instead of my Clinique balm because of the value for money, I LOVE this stuff. It doesn't sting the eyes at all and removed my heavy makeup with ease, even my waterproof eyeliner and mascara. It's scentless which is great, and awesome on my skin. The price is fantastic.

This is my first time to use a balm or oil for facial cleansing. Since I bought this, I have read so many articles that say to follow up with a cleanser of your choice to remove the excess oil? What? I have dry skin, so maybe that's the reason it sounded crazy to me. Nonetheless, dry or not, I am not seeing an excess of oil left on my skin. No way was I going to double cleanse. I never have and probably never will. This balm is magnificent. It takes off every single bit of my makeup. From lipstick to mascara and eye liner and foundation....all of it. And, when I use a warm wet washcloth to remove the oil, I am left with nothing but soft and radiant skin. I love love love this. For once in my life, I feel that every single bit of makeup I had on my face, is completely gone. After the cleansing, I apply rose water, which I purchased from Amazon and then the serum and moisturizer. Usually, I don't feel like u need a moisturizer and if I use, it's just to use. Not because I feel my skin is dry. Anyway, I read a review that was talking about this being too expensive to keep using.....really? Two ounces of a balmy oil for 10 dolls is not too expensive. I think it's a great buy, considering how little of the balm u actually have to use. So, great product with great price and clean radiant and baby soft skin. I couldn't love it more.

This is exactly as described and works perfectly in removing make up effectively. I wear liquid eyeliner and mascara, and it comes off with a warm washcloth and it's absolutely perfect. Recommend.

As someone with allergies that give me runny eyes year round, I have always had to use waterproof eyeliners and mascaras to keep my eye make-up on all day. (Hint: Waterproof mascara also helps your eyelashes hold their curl all day too!) The downside is finding a way to gently remove these products without harsh chemicals or rubbing of the delicate eye skin. I've tried all kinds of eye makeup removers, pads and wipes over the years - mostly oil based - but got tired of the multi-step face cleansing every night that usually still left mascara residue and "crumbs" on my face and dark blotches on my washcloth. I've been hearing about these types of solid/melting cleansing balms for awhile, but feared they would be too thick and greasy for my sensitive/clogged pore prone skin. But I've had great luck with other Neutrogena skin products and since this balm is fragrance free and claims to be non-comedogenic, I decided to give it a try. So far, so good. I rub small amount (like the size of a peanut) between my fingers to liquify it then wipe it across my eyelids, lashes, brows, lips and the rest of my face and with only the slightest amount of rubbing/rinsing it does melt away the makeup, including stubborn waterproof mascara and lip stains. I do still take the extra step of a quick rinse with my regular facial cleanser afterwards - but that's just my extra precaution against the clogged pores I've struggled with - probably not necessary for everyone. So far no bad side effects - just a very, very clean feeling on the whole face. Which, now that I think of it, is probably another benefit - a residue-free clean slate to allow your night time skin treatments a better chance to penetrate the skin to do their good work. I plan to keep using this and will purchase again.

This is my favorite makeup remover! It is not rough, goes on smoothly and works great!

I only use it for my waterproof mascara. It was great when I got it in July it got everything off so easily. However, in October it started to leave red dry spots around my eye and I already have dry skin so it lasted me a while. Now I feel like I have to stop using it because the skin is very raw and I need it to heal. So it may not be too great if you already have dry skin!

If they could only make a face creme that left my old, dried up skin feeling this soft. I would buy a VAT of it and dive in. I was talking out loud to myself (which I do often, to be honest) on how awesome my skin felt after I used it 1st time. Could NOT keep myself from touching my cheek! I really do like all the Neutrogena products but I'm quite fond of the hyaluronic line. This right here is just the icing on the cake.

I was excited to try this as an eye make up remover on the recommendation of a YouTuber. I am underwhelmed. It leaves my eyes feeling heavy and blurry. It looks like set coconut oil. I would rather use coconut oil as it is all-natural. Some ingredients in this tub I can't even pronounce.
