This cat food is amazing!! I am severely allergic to cats, like throat closing up when I’m around too many type allergic. My partner and I really wanted a cat so I was going to get the allergy shots. Then I thought to look into other options, and I found this food. My eyes don’t even get itchy anymore around my cat. I can hug, kiss, and pet her and never even feel an inch of being allergic. This is so worth it, I can’t rave enough about this product. I also have noticed that my kitty has never gotten sick off of it, even after being adopted from the shelter. And she absolutely loves the taste, so much so we use it as training treats for her. 💜

I have always had mild cat allergies (scratchy throat, watery eyes) but my now-husband came as a package deal with two lovely indoor cats. The first couple months after the cats moved in, especially in the summer, were absolute hell despite keeping them out of the bedroom and cleaning excessively.This food immediately (within a week) reduced the amount of dander that was agitating my allergies. Yes, it's more expensive than the average cat food, but for us it's well worth it. Both cats love it, there is no noticeable smell, the nutrition facts are excellent, and the serving size is less than the cheap food which makes the price more palatable.No issues with longevity. We always order the big bag to minimize the price per ounce and keep the extra in a sealed container, which seems to keep it fresh until the bag is finished. Purina, please keep making this line of food! It's been a lifesaver for us.As an additional tip, installing a couple of floor-mounted air purifiers in the cats' room with easy to clean filters, actually removing the hair from the filter regularly, and weekly detailed vacuuming/wet mopping has helped tremendously with my allergies in conjunction with this food. These things on their own without the food did not make a noticeable difference.

when we got our cat from the shelter and brought her home 4 years ago we never expected that my daughter and husband were allergic. we were devastated. we thought we would have to take the cat back. my daughter was miserable with allergies. I thought I would give this a shot. we have been feeding her this food (first the kitten kind then adult) for 4 years now and my daughter is doing great. no more cat allergies. my husband still wakes up stuffy sometimes so we got an air purifier and that helps too. the food is unfortunately very expensive but it has actually worked for us so we will continue using it forever so we can keep our cat.

My two cats has no problem switching over to purina from hills science diet. I made the switch because of my allergies becoming significantly worse. I do believe this is helping with my allergies - however I also have multiple air purifies around my home and take an ungodly amount of allergy medicine, so I can not be 100% sure on how much the food is helping.My one cat tends to have a sensitive stomach - she has not had any digestive problems since starting this a few months ago. I have noticed that both cats have had softer and shinier coats. So even if this has not helped with allergies I plan to keep the cats on this food.

My cat likes the flavor and I notice that it reduces her allergies and has not had hairball issues either. Does not have heavy odor either so that is also a plus!

It is a good food, my cats liked it alright. And I do believe it was helping with my own issues with cat allergies. The price isn't the worst in comparison with other products, but it is still high for the amount you get. Honestly, I decided to pay for better quality food for my cats and just continue dealing with my allergies as I have been for years. But it is a fairly quality food for your cats and if your allergies are bad, and price isn't a big issue for you, this would be a good food.

Noticeable difference around the house. Allergic people noticed a difference. Works as intended but isn’t a miracle cure.

My husband has a severe asthma like reaction to cat dander. We rescued a feral cat from my mom's church thinking we wouldn't be able to keep her but would find her a good home...she was too sweet and sick to leave behind.We were keeping her in our heated garage, and we went back to get a 2nd cat from the same colony. We now have 2 amazing and healthy cats! They are indoor/outdoor but sleep in our bed at night. I think this food works better than advertised, yes, it is very expensive but there is no price on joy. The cats love the food also. I mix it 50% with Iams mainly because some cat owners said their cats had stomach issues with the food but I'm not sure if that is true. Mixing does lower the cost. It's working for us and I'm really grateful, THANK YOU PURINA!!!

My cat has been on this for six months. I have not noticed much of a difference in my allergies.But I’ve noticed that he developed a minor rash in his ear recently, and there was a rash on his leg also recently. I am not sure if it’s from this food or not so I’m still contemplating if I want to keep him on this or go back to his old food which was from Royal canine.

I have 4 cats and my mom and I might be a little allergic. I have several friends who are also very allergic so I thought I would give this a try.The cats love the food (whew!) so that is not an issue at all. The kibble size is very small which is good as 2 cats have very small mouths.It's been several months and I think it's actually helping as I am sneezing less (unless they are right up in my face which they do when they want to snuggle)I also noticed that I have to change my filters on my Air Tok purifiers a lot less frequently too.Hoping this continues but so far it's been great!

I’m not sure what they put in this formula that makes my cat go crazy for it but he LOVES this kibble. I have noticed an improvement in my allergies since switching him to this food about 2 years ago.The ingredients are just ok but honestly he’s had no health issues directly related to his food since using it (another brand gave him crystals in the past).Would recommend anyone with mild allergies to try it out!
