High quality made in the USA what more can you want?
Made in the USA very high-quality works well I think it’ll last a lifetime. If you like quality tools, I think it is a great value. The fit and finish is very well.

Works as good as it looks!
I needed an oil can as I had lost my last one in the move to the new house. The last one was from TSC and it took a beating but always worked. This one is of better quality and is actually less expensive than my last one! I like how it works, nice and smooth. It has also seen some rough use and looks and works great!

Great little oiler
Awesome little oiling can. The bendable stem comes in very handy in those tight corners. It also works as a stationary oiler, leave it on the bench and oil things with one finger. Works as expected and is a great addition to my tool bench.

Doesn't leak, but fitment is poor
Good news it doesn't leak so far. Need to be very careful when tightening the container. Stop at snug, any further and the gasket just pulls into the oil and leaks like a seive! Also the spout didn't have actual threads for attaching to the pump, looked like it, but didn't even begin to screw in! Forcing with pliers did the trick. The pump lever was also bent flat, so no pumping movement ; once recent to a curve it works fine! I guess it's the quality to be expected these days!

Very well made
I had been looking for a pump oiler ever since I accidently left my 40 year old Eagle on the back of my dump truck and lost it forever. As others have said, it would seem an easy chore except for the fact most new oilers are made in China and pure junk. I bought one from Harbor freight and got more oil on the floor then on the part, it is now in the yard sale box. This one from Goldenrod was a welcome find, and Made in the USA! Quality is first rate with no leaks what so ever. I am in the construction business and these things get hard use. I read some reviews complaining of a thin finger lever, well its plenty sturdy, you won't break it and works every bit as good as my old Eagle one did. I cannot fault this oiler in any way and am very glad to have found a decent "oil can". Goldenrod also makes a super heavy duty model, go to their website for a description. I considered getting one until I saw one on display at my tractor store. While that model is also very well made it was just too well made, meaning extra heavy parts and far more then the average garage would ever need. The "727" it is the one pint model which gives it a heavier bottom, less apt to tip over as the 1/2 pint ones. I would recommend the Goldenrod 727 any day, I like quality tools.

I'm -- unwittingly -- oiling everything this oiler touches
It leaks at the base. It leaks a lot. The manufacturer has apparently given Customer Service the script to play defense and blame the customer. It's meant for daily use, they say, or else it will leak. It will? Really? And where on Amazon's product page, or on the manufacturer's (Dutton-Lainson) product page, does it tell me that? Customer Service requested -- and I took and sent -- pictures. They then requested that I remove the spout, leave it overnight, and check for leaks again. This was a bit much for me. When my father died, his old pump oiler -- doubtless from the 1970's -- was among his things. It was still just about full and apparently had never leaked a drop. It isn't good that their QC is this poor, but it happens and can't always be controlled. What CAN always be controlled, though, is the company's response to a customer who bought a defective product. This response ... is bad.
