Nyogel 767A is a silica thickened, synthetic hydrocarbon, heavy duty damping grease designed for mechanical and electromagnetically parts and components that require a heavy level of damping. Nyogel 767A deduces chattering, noise, free motion and quiets down loosely-fitting components while reducing metal to metal contact and wear. This grease is made in USA by Nye Lubricants Inc and is packed by EDC Plus into our own custom made 50g (1.76 oz) squeeze tubes with threaded caps. Manufacturing the tubes, labels, and packing the grease in house allows us to pass along significant savings and value to our customers, while still delivering fresh, high quality Nyogel 767A grease.

damping grease for rods for jumping washer
I bought this damping grease to regrease the original rods for my girlfriend's washing machine. The machine was jumping all over the place. It Helped for one wash then same thing. I went ahead and bought new rods from a dealer on line and they were better, but still jumping quite a bit. I took the rods off again and put the grease on the new rods and it helped a lot. I have her to the wash/rinse on bulky as that also helps with the jumping as it drum does not spin as fast. It does what it suppose to do, it helps a lot. It's been a couple of months now and still good.

Money saver!!!
Our washing machine started to slightly get out of balance and kind of bounce around especially on spin cycle. My husband done some research and found out how to fix the issue so we done some searching and found this damping grease and let me tell you our washer is like brand new again. Been washing clothes for the past 2 weeks and have not had any issues with the washer banging and dancing around. This damping grease was a money saver, don't hesitate to try it, it works.

Washing Machine Rod Rehabilitation - Perfect Viscosity
Samsung washer had the infamous Death Wobble. This grease is perfect for that. The stock suspension rods were changed out, but the new ones only lasted 6 months before THE WOBBLE was back. Whatever slave labor is putting these things together in China is not really greasing them with the care you or I would take, and that grease is all that matters. Once the plastic caps have buffed all the grease down to nothing, the jumping will ensue.Metal collars were also installed to limit the upper travel of the spring's cap, but these are almost certainly irrelevant. When greasing the rods, 4 lines of grease were laid on each area where the cap can travel. The upper and lower portions of the spring cap were separated to allow the introduction of grease all through the space where the cap sits without any loading on it. Once it is loaded with the weight of the washer, that zone will be the upper range of travel, so you want that greased to prevent upward jumping.Upward jumping is the heart of the problem. The grease prevents that and the metal collars constitute a hard upper limit should the grease fail. But to restate, those collars are not being touched at all if the grease is properly applied. You don't need much grease, but it needs to be on all sliding contact surfaces. The end result was perfection, performing like it did the day it was purchased.*** 30 Day Update :(The grease is again not working. I suspect once the machine starts jumping, the plastic caps get worn down a bit, making it that much harder for the grease to do its job. So I compressed each one with the metal collars and we will see how preloading the springs might help.

Slick!
Great lube for your joystick—no, not *THAT* joystick—the one you plug into your computer!

thick, buy cheap microfiber towels
I got some bulk microfiber towels, SQUEEZED FOR MY LIFE like I'm trying to get a drop of blood from Thanos, and managed to get the tiniest stream of this super-sticky, confusing substance onto the corner of the cloth. And man does it work. I cracked open my throttle and, with insane difficulty, squeezed my sticky microfiber corner all over the metal rods in the throttle. I also squeezed some more out of that tube (you get A LOT) and smeared it everywhere beneath the connector for the joystick, where it rubs. Didn't need to open the joystick for that. The joystick movement feels satisfyingly unnoticed now, never distracting. The throttle feels like I'm able to choose distinctly between 43% power, 44% power, etc. That was the biggest difference. After you rub the throttle around to even-out the grease coating, it moves like a plane throttle should.

Use for washer suspension rods
Washing machine started to shake a lot during spin cycles. Saw a vid that recommended using damping grease on the rods, as eventually the damping grease put on the rods by the manufacturer eventually wears off. Used this and did the trick.

Product great - needs different container (edited)
I had the same experience as Douglas. This product is to viscous and sticky (which is exactly what you want) that a lot of pressure is required to squeeze it from the tube, and the poor tube just isn't up to it - it splits at the bottom. Great product, just please put it in a better packaging.EDIT: A couple weeks after posting the review above - I received a box from Jason at Redilast. Inside was a new tube plus two jars of 767A, and a letter stating they've increased the strength of their tubes from 50lbs up to 100. The pic above shows the old tube on the right and the new tube on the left. The new tube does have more plastic in the seam area, so I'm hopeful it will holds up better. This is some great customer service. I always say it's not whether problems happen (problems happen), it's how you handle them. And this was handled well. Thank you Jason. Based on this I'm revising my review up to 4 stars. And a tip to other buyers - when I purchased the tube of 767A, I was unaware that jars were available (and full honesty, I didn't look. I just ordered the first thing that popped up). For a material this thick and sticky, the jar is probably a better option.
