These feeler gages are all almost 1/2 size larger than spec'd. The .004 is .0044, the .008 is .0083, etc. As long as you know these are "plus" gauges - you'll do fine.Work well, and are very consistently "plus" sized, so they are good to use. A Good value.

These are ok but what is the deal with the numbers. These tools are for doing precise measurements. Why are the numbers silver on silver . I have yet to see gauges with numbers you can read.

What I needed most was to replace a lost angled feeler gage. There was 0.005 and 0.006 but no 0.004. The stainless steel seems not as tough, as I slipped it in and out, it seem to mark up the gages, but I will know better when I use it a couple of times. I am not thrilled with the nut and bolt that holds in the feeler gages in place, but it wasnt expensive.

I sampled a few of these with my old school micrometer and they are within .0005" of spec. Close enough for guitars, cars and country western. Good value.

I purchased these to replace my old craftsman ones that gotten stained with something and hard to read. I liked the angled gauge as I was also replacing a lawn mower ignition coil and it was a tight space for the straight blade to fit in.
