I have a '17 KIA with 2.0L Turbo. I switched to a major brand synthetic oil after about 10,000 miles. About 7 years later at 55,000, I started seeing oil consumption. I had been using Mobil1 0W-20 Hi-Mileage/Ext. Performance in our Honda van for years and we had zero problems with it - that engine is known to have oil fouling issues resulting in overhaul or new engine. So, I decided to use it (5W-30) in the KIA. It took two yearly changes to stop the oil use. I just checked it today, 4000 miles since the last oil change and NO OIL USAGE! I think this oil is mandatory for any vehicle over 50,000 miles - at least it is in my driveway. You might wonder how it 'cured' that engine - dissolving hard carbon is what it does. Once the piston rings are freed to expand, they seal the cylinder like they're designed to do and oil consumption stops. Engines that have broken rings or scored cylinders from the carbon build-up may not have the best results, but it sure doesn't hurt to try. You do have to give it time to work. The best thing is to start using it before the trouble starts.

I always have used Mobil1 for all my gas and diesel engines, have never had it fail me.

Arrived on time undamaged , best prices for Mobil one anywhere besides Walmart of course! Good synthetic quality 5w-30 oil . Only thing I would say is it depends on the driver and how it gets handled in transit because sometimes they do get damaged and leaks to where it has to be returned but that’s the gamble you take when ordering oil to get delivered.

This has been my go to oil for my 2013 kia soul since new (was not originally high mileage) I am not sure if I'd go to 20k miles I start looking to change around 5-7k. Cheaper by some than locally and I did not have to go anywhere to get it.

I've use only Mobil 1 (and M104A Mobil Filters) in my 2018 & 2016 Kia Souls with the 1.6 GDI engines. Both cars burn NO oil! Even the Soul with near 100K miles!
