i live in Cali, which is well known to harbor goat heads from stem to stern...40 yrs ago i used the only thorn protect strip on the market....Mr. Tuffy.but they are just asking WAAAAY too much $$$ for a set now & being we have a handful of TUBED bikes @ our house...these strips are dope!

I now have these installed in my wife's wheels, my trainer wheels, my climbing wheels and my long-distance wheels. They have installed easily and without a problem.I recently used a set of Thorn Busters beneath a set of Continental 4 Season tires as "extra-insurance" against punctures on a double-century ride. As I confidently rode the unfamiliar roads, streets and gravel paths, I saw many fellow riders repairing flat tires along the wayside. Though I had spare tubes and a folding tire with me, I didn't need them over the entire 12-hour journey. The 200 was a comfortable, enjoyable "tour" without fear of flatting.For comparison's sake, I have used Stop-Flats II as well as Mr Tuffy. I flatted with Stop Flats II (an office-staple right through the middle of the tread and liner!). Mr Tuffy are installed in my Trek mountain bike and so far, it isn't flat. The low-cost is the main factor in deciding to get Thorn Busters. The compound seems long-lasting and after another 1000 miles or-so, I'll update my review. Happy riding!

I ordered a pair of these for my road bike. 700c X 23-25. At first shipping was delayed a few days, not a huge deal. When I finallygot the liners they had shipped me, one was a 700 x 28-35 which was the wrong size. The other one was the correct size so I decided to just go ahead and install it in my back tire (never get flats on the front tire anyway) Anyhow, I soon discovered that although these are supposedly thecorrect size liners for my tires, they are in fact slightly bigger. This made it much harder to reinstall my tires than before and resulted in me puncturing two inner tubes before I finally got it on there. I have changed many inner tubes before and am always extremely careful when reinstalling the tire so I don't puncture the inner tube. All in all very unhappy with the way these turned out. A waste of inner tubes and time. Would have been much better off not buying them

Can't beat them. They add a little weight but not enough to really worry about.

I plan to use this next year against goat head thorns, I will have more info on them later. They look easy to install.
