As good as advertised!
I've used this system for a little over a month now and all I can say is that it is as good as advertised! I work out a lot during the week, specifically running, road cycling and weight training, and this system helps me stretch and relax my entire body after a long workout. It also works great if you want to do an upside-down abs workout, though I haven't been doing that as often as I would like to.The system is relatively simple to set up. Just follow the instructions and you should be alright. My only quibble about the installation is that some of the bolts provided seem to be a little short, which doesn't give you a feeling of safety. Anyway, that can easily be taken care of by buying longer bolts at a hardware store, so no biggie. As for ease of use, I agree with with some of the other reviews that at first it will be difficult to swing yourself into position and that you will fumble this maneuver a few times, but after a couple of uses, you will have this down pat. Also, be sure to start off by hanging yourself for only a minute or two at first and then increase that over time as your body gets used to being inverted (and your ankles get used to some slight pain). Finally, in order to get the full benefit of the system, your body needs to be COMPLETELY relaxed, which in the beginning can be difficult to do as you are not fully used to being upside-downIn summary, I would recommend this product to anybody that is interested in stretching and relaxing after a long workout, as well as anybody that wants to relieve back pain. Believe me, you will not be disappointed!

I absolutely love this thing
I absolutely love this thing. It installed no problems, feels really sturdy. I got it for back pain & it does help that a little (your results may vary), but it has ended up being a great all-in-one exercise machine. I normally work out with free weights & there are only some pulls (flexion exercises) you just can't do without a machine (unless you are standing on your head). Enter the Hang-Up. You can do rows, pull-ups, lats, hamstrings,& super-duper abs. I can't tell you how great this thing is. My back feels great while I'm hanging but the nature of my problem is that it starts hurting again pretty soon after I stand up again. Still, it's nice to have some relief and I have started to feel some "release"/popping that I can't get any other way. My back has been locked up for a long time, so who knows, maybe if I keep at it I'll get something more permanent out of it. Anyway, I'm really glad I got it because of the overall workout & the fact that it doesn't take up any room, like a slant board would.

I can't believe I waited so long, to feel THIS good! Your whole body will thank you sooner than you think...
Yes, its an expensive (comparatively) pull-up bar. Granted the boots will set you back about a buck by themselves. But this is one piece of workout equipment I now realize I seriously can't live without. Plagued with lower back pain from not keeping up with my core workouts, (yes ab strength has A LOT to do with back pain..) I was looking for a way to work my midsection and decompress my spine at the same time, and this is the ticket.Installation is a breeze, if you can hang a simple doorway pullup bar, this is the same concept. Assemble the frame, measure 2" from the top of the door jamb, drill six holes and secure the hangers. Don't believe all the nay-sayers. A shred of common sense goes a long way for this procedure. For anyone concerned about safety, as long as your door frame is in good shape, don't worry about a thing. I weigh 175# and hung from it holding (2) 50# dumbells, swinging and shaking like crazy, not a creak at all.Pop the boots on, tighten till snug yet still comfortable, swing your feet up, hook on and reeeelaaaax... It's amazing to say the least. Within two, ten-minute sessions I felt relief similar to seeing the chiro. Hanging upside-down is somewhat a new feeling, but after a couple minutes its not that awkward. The hardest part is learning to just hang there and relax your body. Its almost meditative... Once I was comfortable I tried some inverted sit-ups, twists and stretches back and forth. Then I got crazy with it and started to do some inverted squats. (THAT'S interesting. Try it if you get a chance...) Haven't watched the DVD yet, but I just wanted to get a feel for inversion. All in all, very well built, versatile, useful piece of equipment. I don't see myself buying another pull up bar ever again either. (The top bar, albeit lacking foam grips, is the perfect height and position for a good, long extension in-between reps of wide pull ups.)Sidenote: The first one Amazon sent me was missing a boot and two of the bars, the box was taped up kinda funny, but most likely busted open at some time in its journey. Filed for a replacement, and within 24 hrs I had a new one from Amazon. That Prime membership has payed off big-time btw...

My best buy this year!
This system saved my back. With a bulged disk and back pain pinning me down to the floor, I started physiotherapy and hanged upside down when I received the system. As soon as I was able to fully stretch my lumbar spine on it, I gained mobility and the pain diminished quickly. I started doing sit ups after a couple of days and after 2 weeks I was back at work. I use it as soon as I feel fatigue and numbness in the lumbar region. After a session, I feel the difference and I have no more back pain. I am now sharing the system with my family. Both my sons are elite soccer players and the system is now part of their gym routine. This was my best buy for 2013! The booths are easy to strap on. You get used to it pretty quickly. Their comfort will depend on how tight you strap them. It is preferable to wear shoes and socks when you put them on. The installation is simple and I love the fact that you can remove the system quickly after it's use. The bar system splits in two so you can store it easily under a bed or in a closet and you will see when removed is the holding brackets on your door frame and they are small and well designed.

great overall
have had it for about a month using about every second day at the end of my training to get that extra abs workout (absolutely awesome). use it to strech once i've completed and it is not only great on the back but for the rest of the body (feel a lot less pain when squatting since). my wife uses it but she needs a hand to get hook up. the feeling the first couple of times can be unerving but you get use to it after a while and then you can relax. it can get uncomfortable on the feet after a while (just get down wait a minute and go back again)
