Nervous at first, but happily surprised.
I bought these to replace a pair of HiTechs. My daily hike with my Husky utterly destroyed those HiTechs within a few months. When the Banks arrived I was a little concerned since there were some threads hanging out of the toe box. I had to to have the toe stitches fixed since the thread was hanging out of the right shoe. The tongue on the left was stitched a little funky and I had that corrected since I'm not a fan of a migrating shoe tongue. It seems the quality control at the plant is far from perfect. Other than those two fixes, I have put these shoes through some decent daily wear and tear and they're great. I was concerned that the glued soles would fall apart after a few months, but I've been happily surprised. There is very little obvious tread wear on these and I use them EVERYDAY for everything. I regularly scuff the heel and toes up, but they buff out easily. For as much as I beat these shoes up, you'd never know it. I like these shoes. If you're rough on shoes and looking for a good trail to street shoe; I suggest you give these a try.

I absolutely love the look of these shoes and I can already ...
Having owned many styles of shoe from brands including Salomon, Five Ten, La Sportiva, TNF & Patagonia, these shoes definitely stack up in comfort, style and durability. They feel well made and secure but not overly bulky or heavy for a shoe of it's style. I absolutely love the look of these shoes and I can already tell I'll be getting some good use out of them this fall and winter season. I'm already looking at purchasing a pair of the Forsake Trail for colder/worse weather conditions. If you want a rugged durable shoe with quality materials and a killer style, give these a go. I ordered the 9.5 since I normally wear that in other brands and it was just a hair big -- nothing that would stop me from ever wearing them or that affects the comfort. Oh, and my wife loves the way they look so they get the ladies seal of approval as well.

I marked the shoes somewhat wide but that is a good thing. It seems a lot of other shoe companies make their shoes too slim. Forsake has made their shoes a little wider, especially in the toe area, and that makes them much more comfortable. By the way, these shoes are super comfortable and much lighter than I expected when looking at them online. Also, they look even better in person. They look great now and I can't wait to see what they look like when I break them in more. If you want comfortable and great looking shoes then buy these.

I wanted to like it - however the show is just uncomfortable
I wanted to like it - however the show is just uncomfortable. Weird lump under the outside of my foot. It's also a pretty heavy shoe and not the lightweight sneaker that it looks like in the pictures.

Great Shoes!
Great Sturdy shoes! After wearing them for a week, I'm certain they will last longer than most shoes. I got these to replace the Patagonia shoes I've been wearing for years. Patagonia stopped making shoes sadly, and I've been on the hunt for a replacement. The Forsake Banks is well made, good arch support, and has great traction. I've worn them on hikes, working around the yard, and everyday wear. The lacing system is great! Easy on and off and nice looking. I just wish they were not so wide in the toe box. I have a narrow foot. I ordered my usual size and the fit is spot on sans the width.

Awesome Shoes!
These were some of my favorite shoes before my friends dog chewed them up. Apparently even dogs loves these shoes too! So versatile and stylish, you can't go wrong. I'd use these for everything and the only thing they couldn't hold up to were puppy teeth!

it is amazing. I have wide feet
Have I not freaked out about this shoe here yet? Listen, it is amazing. I have wide feet, and this is probably the most comfortable shoe I own. Maybe have ever owned. Tough, comfortable, and looks versatile enough to wear around without looking like an idiot, but still functional for light hiking, etc.

Solid daily wear city and outdoor shoe
Been wearing these daily for about 2 weeks. The quality seems great so far and they look great too. Toe area is roomy, which can be good or bad depending on preference. Treads are grippy and aggressive, although I might prefer the sole to be a bit wider under foot. Great shoe overall, replaced my Patagonia's.
