I figure I saved four hundred in doing the job myself so treated myself to this Malco C4R tool. Strong, well built and easy to use. Handles tougher steel downspouts with ease and aluminum without a sweat. The 3 finger over 2 finger configuration is the way to go and pleased as punch at the time & aggravation these saved me. These are so well build I actually just enjoy looking at them and admiring the engineering that went into this crimper. Am looking for other ways of using these crimpers. If you believe time = money, you will come out ahead vs using needle nose pliers to crimp gutter runs. Quality tools are not cheap! They are sharp so practice a little before you dive in so you get a feel for the amount of pressure you need to exert to crimp, NOT CUT. Great for stove pipe as well.
