Excellent for gloves for birding in cold, but not freezing temps.
I bought these gloves for when I'm birding because they are very light and usable with the touch screen on my iPhone for recording birds in ebird. Also work very well with digital cameras and dials on binoculars and scope. Almost skin-tight and very flexible - I had no trouble lacing up and tying my boots with them on, as an example. They are not good for sub-freezing temperatures, but they're not made for that either. The price is amazing - great value for money.

Best touchscreen gloves I have seen or used. Not for snow play, but reasonably warm.
These work really well. I've looked at gloves before that have different material sewn into some of the finger tips, but they look bad and are awkward to use. With these gloves the whole outer surface works on a capacitive touch screen. Of course, it can't read your fingerprint. You'll have to unlock the phone with the PIN or pattern. They are not very thick and I can't say how durable they are, but for the price they will make great driving gloves or just something to wear when out on a chilly day.

Works As Expected, Probably More Ideal for a Female
I ordered these gloves as a last minute Christmas gift for my soon-to-be mother-in-law because she is always on her iPhone nearly 24/7. Whether she is at home, in the car, or out in public... she's always using it. She lives up in Kentucky where the winters are more along the lines of "middle of the road" in severity. It does get cold up there, so you do have to have some sort of gloves on otherwise you'll experience some discomfort because of the cold weather. Doing some research, I originally wanted the Isotoner SmarTouch gloves but nobody (local or online) had them in stock. I based my preference on a Macworld article (dated January 2011) of four touchscreen gloves tested on the iPad and iPhone. The Isotoners got the best review and compared to the Aglove, they performed "better" simply because they actually kept your hands warm. The Agloves, per the review, were too thin to keep your hands warm in colder weather. It's important to note that when the Macworld review was published, there was only 1 Aglove. To date, there are actuall three types of Agloves. The original Aglove was the first and the one that was reviewed by Macworld. The Aglove Bamboo (a real thin glove made of natural materials) and the Aglove Sport (the product I'm writing about) are the two newest ones. The Aglove Sport is similar to the regular Aglove, but created a little thicker (I would assume because consumers complained about the lack of cold protection) and contains a ribbing near the wrist portion of the glove to stay secure on your hands. Because of the extra thickness, I felt that these gloves would be more ideal for my mother-in-law in Kentucky. Although these are for my fiance's mom, I did test them out and inspected them because of the other bad reviews on Amazon. I've found these gloves to be in great condition and they do work fairly accurately. I did some text typing as well as navigation on by my iPhone 4 & my HTC EVO 3D and got pretty good results. The gloves are moderately thick and the feel of them is real smooth, plush, soft, yet delicate. Because of the delicate nature of the gloves, I would expect these to be more of a glove for a woman than a man. Don't get me wrong, I think these gloves are comfortable and they work amazingly well but from my perspective, I like the thicker type of winter gloves over wool gloves. In my past experience, I've had too many wool gloves snag & unravel on things. Seeing how her mom will likely not do any kind of lifting or grabbing of things that may snag, I would deduce that this is a perfect glove for any woman who has a touchscreen gadget.

Excellent gloves, and made a little better than some others on Amazon
I first ordered two similar pairs from another manufacturer, the Aspen Supply Adult Stretchy Texting Gloves (Black/White Stripe) . One pair that I ordered was fine, though pretty thin, and the other had a big tear in between the fingers. I returned it and ordered a pair of these Agloves. In hindsight, I wish I had just ordered these. They are much warmer, and the quality is MUCH better. These came stitched perfectly, with no tears or holes in sight, and they even seem to be reinforced in some of the areas where the previous gloves seemed prone to tearing. I ordered the M/L, and I'm a 6'1" male with fairly large hands. I probably should have gotten the XL size, but I'm not going to return them. They still work for me, they're just a little tighter than I might like in the wrist. I prefer them to be tight on my hands and fingers, though, because if they are loose in the fingers it will be difficult to use my phone, which of course is why I bought these in the first place! As for the touchscreen capability, it's perfect. The previous gloves I ordered had "hotspots" on the index and middle fingers, as well as the thumb and they worked great. These gloves don't have the hotspots because the entire glove is touchscreen capable! Do I really need to use the other fingers with my phone? No, but it's nice to have just in case, I suppose. I don't plan to use my iPad out in the cold, but there are some 4 and 5-finger gestures for the iPad. So maybe someone who needs the extra fingers will find this to be a good selling point. Using my phone is very responsive, and I can even type nearly as fast as with the gloves off. Overall, I'm extremely happy with these gloves, and I recommend them highly. They seem to be some of the best of their kind on Amazon, especially compared to the ones I ordered first and returned.

Good on touch screens; not very warm
They're very thin and match my hand very close, which allows for a lot of dexterity in them. My hands 8ish and I got the medium/large gloves. They work really well with my smart phone almost as good as just my naked hand. They're not very warm though. 50ish degrees they're ok. 30ish degrees and my hands immediately start chilling over. I have cold intolerance issues though. I've only been using them a few days and they're already looking rather frayed. Nothing that affects their functionality yet, but it's got me worried about their longevity. I've actually used them as a glove liner for a much thicker glove (non-touchscreen friendly) and they worked pretty well for that too although obviously no using touchscreens without taking the top gloves off.

So far so good. Not for snowball fights but good for travelling to work by car.
