If you've been to Italy and have tried to replicate the tomato based dishes/pastas you had but they fall short, the answer is San Marzano tomatoes. Yes, this variety grown in a specific region really does make a difference in your recipes. This is a great brand and the sweetness/flavor of these tomatoes means you don't need to add sugar to your recipes. I definitely recommend this brand and yes, it's worth the price.

The Best!!! I googled reviews and I ordered these san marzano tomatoes from amazon. When I received them they came with a personal note from a member of the Gustiamo team appreciating our purchase from a small business! I LOVED THE NOTE AND THE TOMATOES! That evening I made a fast sauce (marinara) olive oil, a few tbsp. diced onion, 1 minced garlic clove, li'l bomba, two cans of toms hand crushed. 45 min simmer finish with fresh basil! Served over homemade ravioli:) I'm ordering more and sending some as gifts! Wish I took a pic!
