I've loved these treats since I was a little girl at summer camp in California
These have been my favorite candies since I was a young girl. I grew up in Nevada and went to summer camp all summer in Northern California. I first had this treat at camp. It was the only place I could get it. This was in the 1960s and 70s, and there was no such thing as the Internet, cell phones, or computers. You had to pay a lot of money for long distance, and I don't think we even had credit cards back then, so you couldn'torder them at the click of a mouse. Anyway, 40 years later, I saw an advertisement for Applets and Cotlets on the net, and then I saw them on Amazon. The rest is history. I try to share these with my neighbors and coworkers whenever possible, and everyone loves them. Not too sweet. Just right.

Damaged product carton
Wonderful product, however retailer needs to package better, one of two boxes was crushed slightly, making it non usable as it's intended use as a Christmas gift. Hard boxes need to be used.

A Family Tradition
My mother grew up in the small town in central Washington where aplets and cotlets come from. She went to school with the daughter of the family that started and owned the business. In our family, aplets and cotlets are traditional on our holiday tables. There is an aura of elegance about them for us. On my seventieth birthday, my sisters and I visited our mother's home town. We found that the factory is only a few blocks from her family home so of course we took a tour. And stocked up at the factory outlet store. I still search the shelves of local stores for these traditional, natural candies. This was the first year I've ordered them online. I served them at my Christmas Eve tea. I wish they were everywhere.
