Seresto Large Dog Vet-Recommended Flea & Tick Treatment & Prevention Collar for Dogs Over 18 lbs. | 8 Months Protection

At first I was worried about if I could get a legitimate one or not from Amazon; but they came in sealed containers and they work well.The only issue I noted was lack of appetite at first. That evened itself out. So far we are almost at the end of May 2025 and both of my (very large!) dogs have zero fleas or ticks.I live in an area that has a lot of ticks that carry Lyme. For that specific reason, this is absolutley a great option, and the cost is worth what it does.I haven't noticed any scratching or anything like that, it fits well and has extra loops to secure it.Pro tip from me, tuck it under their collar to keep the rain from getting to it, and keeping it up against the skin. But make sure to check if this works, because in my situation my dogs have very thick hair (great pyrenees), so your mileage may vary with the above suggestion.Recommended!

My dog was a tick magnet before this collar. The liquid Frontline did not work, pill form did not work. Serestro is the best for keeping ticks and fleas away. Great fit, good size. Has a nice light, almost floral smell. My dogs did not have any issues with rashes or feeling sick. Perfect for my fur babies. *Please monitor your pets when giving them this collar. While I have had success with both my 90lb dog and 8lb dog, you should always watch to see how your pet responds to a flea collar.*

I’ve had my dog wearing one of these collars for around 6 months now and it doesn’t bother her or irritate her skin at all. She’s been in water and had baths since having it on too and it’s holding up well. We just recently went to the park, got home and noticed a tick on her ear. I grabbed tweezers to get it off and to my pleasant surprise, it was dead! The ingredients in the collar must have done their job in killing the tick! I am so relieved. So far I have not noticed any fleas either. I love that this is an effective, affordable option for flea/tick prevention for my dog, as the topical treatment can be so expensive. Definitely recommend.

This is hands down the only flea collar I’ll buy. It actually does what it says—provides excellent flea control without causing scratching or irritation. The fit is perfect, the size is ideal for large dogs, and the quality is top-notch. My dog doesn’t seem bothered by it at all, and I’ve noticed a huge drop in flea activity since we started using it. Highly recommend! (There is no taste to it, it is not edible.)

Our vet warned us that many dogs have had seizures from Seresto collars, some of them fatal. I was worried when I googled this issue. But this collar has worked great for our 65 lb. pit bull. No health problems or concerns at all. And best of all, no ticks - and we live at the edge of some woods. And it's super easy. I put the collar on in March and it's effective until November. Just one caution: TAKE IT OFF BEFORE YOU BATHE YOUR DOG. We forgot to take the Seresto collar off before a bath and our dog was sick for three days. I guess the soap and water released too much toxin from the collar all at once. We kept dousing our dog's body with lots of cool, clear water and he finally recovered. But that was scary.

This collar is great for those dogs live in the life out in the country. We used to invest in the shots, but now we just do this collar because it’s just as effective. It lasts up to eight months, but I usually replace it every six just to be safe. My dog does not have any irritation from it, and it does not bother him at all. It’s definitely a great substitution if you don’t wanna go pay the vet bill for the other methods. I also found that Amazon has it the cheapest! We will continue to use this on our dog going forward

At fourteen years old, my dog has never experienced fleas. There is no better flea collar than this one. The best part is that it lasts all season, so you don't have to worry about remembering to put drops on him or give him drops in his mouth. I actually put it on him for the first time one year, and dead ticks started to come off him. It operates 24 hours a day for eight months.

We use these for both of our duckhunting dogs. They work great, considering we can use topical with them jumping in and out of the water. Does was it’s supposed to do and repels ticks, if I do happen to find a tick on them it’s dead. Never had an issue with fleas so it clearly works for that too.
