Very good product and very fast service

The 10mm female thread was tapered, and could not fit tightly to the existing standard male thread.The 10mm female thred was cut for an earth connector, which also prevented easy fitment.The threaded part was easily loosened when screwing together.The contacts are not secured very well, and are easliy bent by any bulb.HOWEVER, WITH ALL THAT SAID, AND A WHILE SPENT MODIFYING, IT WORKED OKYOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

Happy with my purchase

The fitting was of good quality and easy to fit replacing one that had broken. The only downside is that there is no ledge or a second locking nut for the shade to sit on. Luckily I had one on the old lamp fitting so I was able to transfer across. If I didn’t have the spare nut I would have to send them back for a refund.

Arrived quickly and the holders are good. Would be better if they sold them singly, as i suspect most people would on need one. Also, the instruction NOT to assemble it before the wiring is complete should be more prominent. I forgot and it was awkward to disassemble. Despite the suggestions, it has been a good experience.

Difficult to fit onto table lamp didn’t seem to have inside thread to screw on.

a great replacement for a broken lamp holder

The photos make it look like it has an M10 nut embedded in the plastic. It's not a proper nut - it's more like a crude insert that also provides the only way of connecting an earth wire - something that is VERY difficult and fiddly. Also, the insert that provides an M10 screw thread isn't exactly square to the body of the fitting. This means that a lamp that requires the use of the M10 fitting can end-up being slightly wonky. Basically a potentially good product that's spoilt by poor design in some areas.
