The Dealourus T-Max generator Very easy to setup and use I've used it to power the many corded power tools I've had for years out in the Field its not a light machine but it's very robust and I added my own after market wheel's to ease moving it around,I can actually lift it myself and I'm 65 year's old but would recommend not everyone trying this. The N.Ireland based company is very approachable quick to reply,due to an unfortunate mistake I left them a poor review which I unreservedly take back and would encourage anyone to buy from them .

After filling up with oil and petrol, it has started for the first try. Not silent, but I wasn't expecting it to be the highest tech for this amount. Runs, provides electricity. Tried only with our double door huge fridge and smaller appliances, will try the max power output tomorrow. So far so good.

I bought the T-MAX machine to generate 230V for a Freezer and Fridge Freezer in case of a Blackout. It arrived intact and well wrapped. I had to only screw on the 4 rubber feet. This is easy as the machine can be turned a bit on its side, as long as there is no fuel or oil in it. It is not easy to shift even for a lightweight machine (41kg). I am very glad I did not buy a heavier generator. I then filled the engine with oil. This is not that easy as the oil filler is obviously at the bottom of the engine. I managed it but possibly overfilled a bit as there is no way of judging whether it is enough oil or not. Then I connected the lose cables to the battery of the generator. I then partially filled the tank with 4 stroke petrol. I opened the fuel valve but has some difficulty finding the choke lever. It is just above the Air filter but as everything is made of black plastic, it was a bit difficult to find. Once this was all sorted the engine started up quite easily. However, as I moved the choke to the OFF position the engine started to run in a irregular way. I thought my petrol must be old. The next day I did another test and found that the choke is used to make the engine run smoothly. Too much choke gets you a dark and smelly exhaust fume and too little choke makes the engine in a broom-broom mode. Just move the choke to the point where the engine runs smoothly. Remember that if petrol is stored for a long time it loses its vitality and impedes the running of the engine. Then I tested it by connecting my freezer and that worked fine. Please remember when there is a Blackout, you should not open fridge and freezer doors. My plan would be to start running the generator starting the 3rd or 4th hour. Run it for a couple of hours and then repeat this pattern for such time when the Electricity comes on again. Obviously, each person may have other ideas about this. As I am over 80, I found it a bit hard to move the machine from the place where I store it and as it was sitting on the ground everything is quite low to reach. My solution was to buy a small flatbed 4 wheel trolly and put the generator on it. It is secured with strong cable grips so it cannot fall off. It has a number of advantages: 1 I can move it around and get to the various controls easier. 2 I can move it easily around my house and garden. 3 as the trolley is 10 cm from the ground the controls are more accessible. 4 I ran it for a while, and it seems that the rubber feet on the generator and the rubber wheels on the trolly make the running even steadier than just standing on the ground. I think a lot of the shaking of the engine is absorbed, as it is with a car engine sitting on rubber struts. Please remember that if a Blackout occurs, this may well be caused by whether conditions. So be prepared to go out into the rain, snow and dark. Keep a headtorch ready and charged and some warm clothing as you may be outside for quite a while. I have tested the generator and it works for what I want it to do. I have not used it in anger, i.e. a real blackout. I do like the T-MAX and give it a 4.5 Star.

Had problems with this starting within a few weeks of delivery. After speaking to James we agreed it could be the battery which he replaced. Starting problem re-occured and after some trial and error, it was decided that the solenoid could be the problem.I have tried to contact James on many occasions but not getting any reply from emails or phone calls.I messaged him through Amazon and he replied to say part had been posted but it has never arrived.I asked him to confirm when it was posted and to confirm postal address and courier but have never received a reply.Considering this item came with a 2 year warranty I am very dissapointed that I now have an electric start generator which I need to pull start to get it going and as I am approaching 73 of age this was bought to make life easier when using it A dissapointed Wullie D

Changing this review as it broke down after two months! Company gave me two phone calls, now I'm out money and generator is still broke! Now no communication from them!

I read the reviews before I purchased and most said that it was a good product and started first time. . . Well, it is a good product and it started first time! Fairly quiet as well. I would recommended it

n'a jamais voulu démarré certainement arrivée d'essence et allumage défectueux après tests .le vendeur demande de renvoyer le groupe en Irlande mais à mes frais sachant que ça pèse 40kg et c volumineux donc 150 € de frais en plus ,je pense que c de la fumisterie donc je garde ce groupe que je vais mettre à la poubelle .....que 400€ de foutu merci beaucoup
