These are SO MUCH FUN!!! I received them speedy quick and immediately opened the package and started playing. I left them on my dining room table and when my grown kids came to visit they couldn't keep their hands off of them. After a while we had a gallery of very interesting figures: a couple of Archimedean solids, some abstract expressions, a couple of irregular polyhedra, and even a Platonic solid or two. I can't wait for school to start up again to see what my students do with them. There are less expensive versions of this kind of building set, but... you get what you pay for. These are of exceptional quality.

I purchased two sets. So with (176 x 2) 352 rods I am able to have a 64 tetrahedron matrix, two star tetrahedrons and a vector equilibrium all at the same time with 3 rods to spare. The colors are vibrant and the pieces are well made. There aren't equal amounts of each color - more reds and greens in my two sets. However, that worked to my advantage with what I wanted to make. The magnets work well, but large models will be delicate. If the connection doesn't seem strong - switch the ends around. I'm am very, very pleased with this purchase. Highly recommend :-)

My son really loves it but I the box was not assembled right the board dividers was not even glued on and it only came with one instead of two. The magnetic sticks were not all there a couple were missing but other than that my son plays with it non stop and enjoys it.

I was a little disappointed in ordering a multiple set of these magnetic building sets that I received two different packaging boxes for them. Six are a dark cherry colored wood and 2 are a smaller birch wood. I would hope that when ordering multiple items, I am certain to receive them them each the same. I had a very large order from multiple companies for a school and this is the only part of the order that came with different storage boxes. In a large order, I expect to order and receive all the same items with no quality differences.

bought these for my 12 year old, who loves to construct and change designs, and they love these. Easy to use right out of the box and they are able to make multiple designs. The Magz are very similar to other magnet sets we owned years ago, but my children were too small and we got rid of them. Happy to have found these and enjoy the creations my kid makes.

Kids and adults fighting over who gets to play with them! Only knocking off a star because the nice wood case was broken on the inside. My hubs had to reglue the dividers inside of the box. Anyway, they were the HIT of the Xmas party and most played with toy throughout the day. Very fun! No the balls are not magnetic. We have built many complex shapes and towers and hope to build many more creative things with them!

This set comes with a very nice wooden case. So many possibilities with a set this large. It's a great deal for the price. My children - ages 5 and 6 - love playing with it, as do I.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY GRANDCHILDREN, AGES 5, 7, AND 9. I REALLY NEVER GET A CHANCE TO PUT IT AWAY - IT IS ALWAYS IN USE, IF NOT BY THEM THEN BY ANY ADULTS THAT COME INTO THE FAMILY ROOM. MAGNETS ARE COMPELLING AT ANY AGE AND HERE YOU HAVE HUNDREDS OF THEM. IT IS WELL MADE AND STURDY. I HESITATE TO CALL IT A TOY, IT IS SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT. IT'S ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I HAVE EVER BOUGHT FOR THEM.
