A Super Hero for a Super Baby
Books are so important. My daughter and son-in-law began reading books to their daughter when she was only a few weeks old. They sent out a request for more stories--they were tired of the old ones. When I saw My First Wonder Woman Book I just had to order it--after all my daughter had proudly sported her Wonder Woman Underoos at age 3 so her baby daughter should enjoy a good read about Wonder Woman. She does. So does her mom and dad. They especially like the bright colors and the touchy feely parts that enhance the story. When baby and mom and dad are happy, the gift was a good choice.

This is the Wonder Woman board book to get
This is the second Wonder Woman book we got for our toddler. We also got Wonder Woman: The Story of an Amazon Princess and at the same time someone gave my daughter Superheroes: Opposites, another hero-themed board book with multiple DC universe heroes. (It was my kid's birthday.)Looking at all of these, this is the book to get for your kiddo who likes Wonder Woman! My kid won't even look at the other two mentioned. (The opposites book is way too boring and simplistic, even for a toddler. And the Amazon princess story is too dense and doesn't really have cohesion. My daughter just looses interest because it's more historical/origin than an action story.)It has engaging pictures and a story that is easy to understand. My three-year-old also likes to touch all the different textures (shiny boots, lasso). It could have more touch stuff, but it's fine in that department. The winning part of this is the mirror at the end which shows a reflection of the kid and says they can be heroes.I agree with other reviewers that this book could be better in some ways, but just in comparing it to other Wonder Woman board books (or hero books with WW in them), this one is the one my kid asks to read. The other ones are buried or under the bed. I think she actually hid one of them because she dislikes it that much!My advice is this: Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good. We need more strong female protagonists in kid's books! This is not the best pro-girl book for toddlers, but it sure as hell beats another boring princess book about nothing interesting at all.

Best Baby Book Ever!
I love Wonder Woman and I love this book. I buy it for all the little kiddos, especially girls, who I come across. It''s interactive and fun. Kapowwww. A book about girl power and kindness and strength. Love, love, it!

Perfect for our own little Wonder Woman
Our daughter loves this book! It is bigger than I pictured (which was actually a good thing). We especially love the little mirror on the last page that lets her see herself as a hero, too!

Baby's first!
A great touch and feel book for the infant you're reading to tonight. This board book has some great colors and some unique textures and colors for baby that I haven't seen in others--the golden lasso being a favorite of mine, and hers.I look forward to reading this to her some more, and to letting her big sister do likewise--the words are just right for a beginning reader to read to a young crawler.

Great book, came looking used
I'm giving it five stars because we love the book itself, but I have to say that I was disappointed in the handling of it. It looked like a used book (and not gently used) with all of the edges frayed or dented. We pretty much exclusively purchase things sold by Amazon to avoid issues like this, so that was disappointing. But the book itself is awesome and our daughter loves it. It's awesome to see all the Wonder Woman stuff out there right now!

The title was enough to make this a "must have" for our bookshelf.
Your FIRST touch and feel Wonder Woman book. And your LAST if you are caught "reading" it too much?

Amazing
My nieces are obsessed with superheroes, so I have looked all over for entertaining, age appropriate comic book books. This book was just what I was looking for. It was a board book so it won't get easily destroyed. It was very interactive. It has a lot of things to keep a child busy. You can play with the lasso, look in a mirror, all kinds of things. Great book.
