ECO Battery BinTest, Store & Recycle AA, AAA, C, D Batteries

This is a nice little product for conveniently testing common batteries and keeping spent ones from being dumped in landfills. It's attractive and just the right size. Instead of throwing used batteries in the trash, just test and collect them. Then, take them anywhere that recycles.I felt compelled to write this review in response to the single 1 star review that I read. I don't like to see useful products get dinged for stupid reasons. This product is so easy to use that instructions aren't even necessary. The only caution states, "To prevent short-circuiting, we recommend protecting the terminal end of all batteries prior to storing them by individually bagging them or otherwise covering the ends." If terminal contact with other batteries is really a concern, use a piece of scotch tape to cover an end. It's not a big deal. I don't worry about it because I know the batteries going into my bin are DEAD!

It's just the right size. Easy to use. Can't think of anything I dislike.

i purchased one of these because i got tired of having used batteries lying around before i could recycle. this is a great tool as it organizes them all in one place. The bin also includes a tester so i can be sure the battery is used up, and that there are no issues with the device. I would encourage anyone to have one of these that wants to streamline their battery recycle and generally unclutter their house.

The media could not be loaded. I had been looking for something like this and was so thrilled to come across this product! We use tons of batteries in our home (like most people!) and it was time to start organizing my junk drawer. We had so many random batteries and this was the perfect device to help us figure out if they were still usable or not. I can't tell you how many times I have taken off the back of my TV remote to wiggle the batteries just to get the last bit of juice out of them-having this device helps me realize when it's time to just throw them out-into the attached bin! The bin is so convenient as a one stop place to store them all until we are ready to dispose of them properly. It's hard to be green all the time but the little things add up and this one is a no-brainer!

This battery recycling bin is a wonderful tool to keep all your dead batteries in one place until you get to the recycling center. It holds a lot of batteries and you can test them on the top to see if they are truly dead. I bought this 3 years ago and it is still not full. But it is very heavy once 2/3 filled up so I will probably take to recycling soon. You can test AAA, AA, C, and D on the top. There is no tester for 9 volts. Easy to carry to the recycling center once you are ready.

Love this battery tester/recycle bin! It's inexpesive and just the right size for home use. Bought it after viewing a local news report encouraging people not to throw their used batteries in their trash for environmental reasons. Thought this was a great option for transporting my used batteries to my local recycling center for disposal.

This battery recycling storage bin is easy to use, sturdy, comes with the ability to test four different sizes of batteries and an instruction booklet that gave great information.
