Phenomenal quality!
I am absolutely impressed by the quality and tone of these cymbals! It makes my kit look and sound professional. I was initially a bit concerned as to whether it would sound like "trash can lids" as several comments have noted--however, upon trying it for myself, I can confirm that the sound is very dynamic and powerful, and sounds/feels absolutely nothing as those critical comments described.I cannot stress how happy I am with my purchase and would strongly recommend these cymbals to others. They look gorgeous--even better in person--and sound even better.

Great mid tier set
These sound great for the money, and they look awesome. If you want an upgrade from the lower tier cymbals B8s or HCS sets, but aren't ready to drop a grand on a Byzance or K Customs set these are a great option. They are all real crisp and glassy sounding and the hi-hats especially are great, I put a ching ring on mine and it gets rid of all unwanted ring and gives a good effect. If you want some great mid tier cymbals these are a good option I have had them for a few months and am happy with the purchase.

Noice!
Hi hats are sic. The china is sic. Love the stacks. To me they sound like a hand clap. Great for grooving. I have to get use to the 20” crash. The thrash cars complements the china. 17” and splash sound great. Definitely worth the purchase. Looking into getting the whole Dark Custom cymbal family.

These Are The Ones! Stop Shopping And Buy Them
Absolutely blown away by these cymbals! I have played many different cymbals over the years and after buying my new kit and being strapped for cash I decided to go with these instead of forking over another $1000+ for new cymbals. These things are LOUD. I mean they will cut through in any venue or on any track. The hats are super crisp and feel great, and the ride has a nice feel to it too. If you are transitioning from entry level playing to intermediate, these are a great jump up from B8's or something similar. I don't think I will ever go back to any other brand of cymbals again. These feel like professional cymbals that normal folk can afford.

Sexy look, sexier sound
I love these cymbals right out the gate. They are suitable for any beginner to upper-intermediate player and great for rock, jazz, and fusion. Highly versatile set of cymbals at an incredible price.

(2023 UPDATE) strictly studio cymbals now
10/25/23I've upgraded my drum set from the DW design series, sold my Ludwig and my Mapex Pro M for a beautiful Mapex Saturn V Studioease. While I don't use all the cymbals that came with this kit now (it's just too much to mic) I find myself keeping all of the bigger sized crashes (19in & 20in) and I've swapped my 16in hihats for some Meinl Cymbals Byzance Dual 14" Hi-Hats. I also swapped out the 22in ride for a Meinl Cymbals 20 inch Byzance Dark Ride Cymbal. I still use the 16in trash stack, the 18in trash crash, and have added 12in/16in bullet stack (Luke Holland Signature series). I still have all of my dark classic customs Cymbals (wall art along with some Aric Improta custom Remo heads. But Meinl will forever be my goto when it comes to Cymbals. I've played Sabian, Pastie, but even the HCS meinls felt like I got my moneys worth being that's their entry level cymbal. I will say the price has gone up since I originally pu4chased these lol... but the meinl Cymbals I added (aside from the bullet stack) I purchased 2nd hand for a good deal. They all sound great in the studio and I feel that's reflected in their price point when pu4chased brand new.

Don't belive what you see in videos
Video reviews you see for these have all been mixed. These cymbals sound friggin awesome when you watch reviews on them. When I got mine home, they sounded like crap. The hi hat was passable. The rest of the cymbals sounded like garbage. Roll of the dice when you buy cymbal packs. Maybe some people get a set that not only sounds good individually, but the cymbals also sound good together. Possibly I got a crap set, but they sounded so bad, I had to return them. They do look pretty cool though. If you buy these, make sure you buy from someone who lets you return them without a restock fee or shipping cost. Give them a try. You may get lucky and get a set that you are happy with. The set I got was barely worth the hassle of setting them up and returning them. But that is the price you pay to get the sound you want. Good luck!
