Bandai Hobby - Accessory - Action Base 5 [Clear Color] Model Kit

I bought this Action Base to display my MGSD Gundam, and it works really well. It is easy to assemble, feels sturdy, and holds the model securely. The clear design looks clean and doesn’t distract from the model, making the display look much better. It also allows for more dynamic poses. Overall, I’m very happy with this stand and would definitely recommend it to other Gundam builders.

Still holds up

I should probably start by saying that I'm a Transformers collector rather than a Gundam collector, so my review might not be applicable to every customer. However, I know I'm not the only one looking for stands for my TFs, so hopefully this helps other fans in my situation. The 1/144 stand is perfect Voyager-class and smaller Generations-series Transformers figures from Combiner Wars to Earthrise (and presumably Kingdom, whenever that line becomes available). The picture included in my review features Earthrise Skywarp in jet mode, but it works fine for a broad range of figures in both vehicle and robot modes. I doubt this stand would work for most Masterpiece Transformers since it could not support the weight of a Leader-class Siege figure. Various connectors are included, but the ones you'll use the most for more recent TF figures are the 3mm (I think) pegs. The double-U shaped crotch grabber pieces (sorry, I don't know what else to call these) worked for some of my older Generations figures that lack the flight stand ports available on figures in more recent lines but I didn't test a huge selection of them. Short version: this stand is good for basically any Transformers Generations figure from 2015 to the present that is a Voyager or smaller. Great value for the money.

A tad complex to use, but I was finally able to pose two 1/144 scale Gundam securely. Versatile once you understand it, but I wish some of the connections held on tighter, since the sockets near the base don't hold up well to moving around when displaying two Gundams at opposite ends, but a similar base holds fine to moving a single, far more robust Gundam. Should hold up, never had a part break on me, even when I'm being dumb.

This action stand was confusing for my partner (a first time builder) but it works and looks great. Beware it’s not weighted though so be aware of posing heavier figures.

Sturdy and well made, you’ll have to build the stand kind of like it’s more gunpla, so clippers are needed, but it’s very simple and fun, and you can customize and attach it with other Action 4 or 5 bases.

Es fácil de armar, se pueden posar hasta dos figuras, y cuenta con tres tipos de sujetadores para anclar las figuras. Para los HG, está perfecto, además, cuenta con una pequeña pieza para conectar con la misma base por si quieres ampliar la escena a una pose grupal.
