It was the perfect replacement...
So, I was driving on the back 20, it was late at night, and, being my own yard, I had had a few adult pops. Well, lo and behold, I brush up against a tree, and thought my mirror would just flop/fold in, and I'd be on my merry way to water the grass. Well, it didn't just fold the mirror back. It literally ripped the whole mirror, and the black door guard piece right off the truck. Now, this truck is 10 years old (2010 F150 FX4), has 190,000 miles, and has been a dream. I was a Chevy guy growing up, but got tired of replacing the starters and/or alternators every few years. Had a '78 Monte Carlo as my first car, got an econobox Chevy Spectrum (rebranded Isuzu) when I was in SoCal, moved up to a brand new 5 speed 1993 Chevy S-10 extended cab, got into some financial trouble (I was 23/24?) so sold it to my parents and they kept it, I ended up getting a very used El Camino (weirdly, another '78), and when I had saved up enough for a actual decent ride, I bought a 1986 Isuzu Impulse 5 speed, and was in love with that baby. Took her to Florida and back, then the fuel injectors had to get replaced, the mechanic jacked up the job, so I took it to the Isuzu dealership, they fixed the fuel injectors - but destroyed the manifold and the exhaust, and gave me a quote of $2k to fix it - so I asked for a pen, which they kindly gave me, I signed the title and laid the pen on top of it and walked away. About that time, I ended up with a 1995 K1500 Z71, drove it for a few years, bought back my old S10 after my mom died... Then, sold both of them and bought a 2006 GMC Canyon 4x4.. sweet ride, all black, blackout package, everything was awesome... I had it 3 years, hit 70,000+ miles, and something clicked and I started getting 20+ mpg, rather than the ~15-ish. I figured the inline 5 finally got 'broke in'. Well, lo and behold about 5 months after that, I got rear ended by a dumptruck, and hit a Suburban. My lil' Canyon buddy was beyond repair. At that point, I was fed up with the Government bailing out the auto industry (GM, mainly), and looked into a Ford. That's the one I am driving today. Only problem I've had is the backup sensors have died twice, and the sunroof rails have popped/broken twice (first time was still under warranty, so $100 got it fixed, second time not, and it's $2k to fix. I just have it shoved closed). Regular oil changes, tuneups, and 3 total brake jobs ain't bad for 185,000 miles. Hope it lasts another 10 years, too!

Absolutely love it!!!
Exact fit! for my 2010 Ford F150 XLT!! Very easy to install. If you’re any kind of mechanically inclined, installation shouldn’t take no more than 15 minutes. You can’t beat the price for this item, I saved exactly $100 not buying this item from Auto Zone.

Edited. The puddle lamp on the mirror doesn't work after a month.
This installation was easy and went right in minus the pins in the connector. I had to bend them straight again to get connector to go in. Edited. The puddle lamp went out after a month.

Perfect match to original unit.
Had to remove entire door panel. Tedious but easy. Product is very very well made. Would buy it again if I manage to rip another mirror off my 2007 F150.
