Listen up parents and family of a youngster: THIS IS THE ONE. This magnetic drawing board (err..."Magna Doodle"-like product) is Durable, Sustains accidental ninja moves, and has so far Stayed together. By together, I mean: for now, I have taken the spare magnetic drawing pieces that actually stay with the board (because the board is magnetized 🤯 to help keep up with the pieces) away for now. My daughter is 2 and still likes to put things in her mouth. But I will give them to her during supervised play time and, of course as she gets older.I love giving my daughter a way to express herself (with minimal to no cleanup) and this board with all of the colors that pop up when she draws does the trick.Did I mention it comes with a companion board that she also loves? I think she likes it better than the big board sometimes because it can go wherever she does.You never know with children just how long toys will last but if either board was broken today, I would feel like I got my money's worth.

This draw board is a decent material but it will take 3-4 erasing for the picture to clear up the current drawing..... as you can see I did a test for everyone, one clear and still you see everything. It’s a good deal for you to receive 2, one small and one normal size. If your child is young this board is not the one for you but if your child is 4+ year old then they can just erase the board 3-4 time with ease. I have bought a lot of different magna doodles over the years for my 5 kids, and this set is fantastic. The stampers are magnetic which is by far a HUGE plus. My kids would constantly lose the stampers in other ones, or they would always fall out. The stickers that come with it allow for some fun personalization (name, etc) which is so simple but so fun. The pen is shaped so well, it sounds dumb but this particular bubbly shape makes it so nice and comfortable for all different size fingers. There are 4 different colors embedded so as you draw or write the different colors become visible. We have an older magna doodle like that and it’s fun. The fact that this comes with the travel size as well is such a plus. The smaller kids can easily use that one and it’s a fun size for everyone really. I like the feel of this one, the handle is also nice. The shape is nice. Everything about this set is super. The actual board is the same though as all my other magna doodles. You really have to swipe back and forth quite a few times to really “erase” the writing and I can see that over time this will end up similar to the other magna doodles and not fully erase so that’s one negative thing. They don’t make these boards like they used to. But, for the price and quality of this one, it is my favorite.

The big one is great. Works and looks like advertised. The travel size one didn't work. The night we opened it one of the kids told me the stuff disappeared. You can draw on it and see what you've drawn but then it slowly disappears. the big one works thank goodness or it be going back and is still working a week after opening. I dont know if we just got a bad travel size one or if it's something that happens to all of them.

I’ll have to remember to add a picture later, but I wanted to write this before I forget. I bought this for my 3 year old niece who was coming to stay with me for a few days from out-of-state while her parents took a trip with friends. I bought this the day before she arrived & as promised, it was delivered the very next day (for free too). My niece LOVED both of the magnadoodle things that came together! She really had a fun time with the magnets that are shapes. Ha the moment she started she asked how we were going to save all her pieces of art, so to appease her I took a pic of every single creation lol. She enjoyed this thing every day she visited & was so bummed she couldn’t take it home with her….until I showed her the travel sized one she could have! Ha boy was she excited about that. Her father (my brother) told me she’s played with extremely cheap ones before, but she never enjoyed them because they broke instantly & didn’t work right. He told me those were like $0.99 each though, so I’m not surprised. While it obviously is not recommended, I watched (& corrected) my niece slam the magnets or pen into the screen a good few times (while I cringed), yet each time it held up with zero damage. That was a pleasant surprise. I was originally torn between an old fashioned etcha sketch or one of these, but I was sold on the multi-colors aspect of this one. I highly recommend this item if you’re looking for some good ole non-electronic entertainment for young ones. Actually, I remember enjoying my etcha sketch until I was pretty old ha. This company is great to deal with as well. They offered 6 free stickers if I contacted on Facebook (the item came with one of the stickers & myself & the niece loved it, so I had to get the additional 6). I contacted them to see if they could mail them to my nieces address instead of mine & they had no problem with it. Thanks again to them for that & these sweet magnadoodles!!!! :)

We’ve only had them for a few months but I’ve been shocked several times that she hasn’t broken them. She’s obsessed with standing on things, but she’s pretty small so I figure that’s the only reason they’ve survived so far. The plastic is pretty thin. They work fine, takes a couple swipes to clear, but I’ve never encountered one of these type of toys that cleared perfectly every time. That said, the small one is actually the one that gets the most play. Great for travel, perfect size for a high chair tray. When I ultimately have to buy something like this again, I’d get a few of the small ones.
