First thing to say having tested this, is that the battery life is poor. 2hrs is simply not enough. Even the stupidly expensive original item has the same short sighted, under powered overpriced shortfall in performance.Im genuinely astonished im expected to recharge this whilst filming a 5hr ride.Can't even upgrade the battery!Now onto other niggles, like the display is all but unreadable in bright sunlight. Remember that battery problem? It only shows the remote battery level if you switch it off and on.Why no easily seen LED?What about LED for mode too?If its muddy, rainy, cold etc, you can't be piss farting around switching stuff on and off or charging am overpriced remote control that only lasts 40% of your ride. So choose carefully what you want to record!

Much cheaper than GoPro equivalent - battery pretty poor and the magnetic cable makes it not great for topping up charge on the go though.

Nice sturdy construction. Feels like it will e long lasting and robust enough to survive accidents

Arrived in good slim packaging. Was almost a full charge out the box. Paired in about 30 seconds with Hero 7 Black. All features and functions work as stated. Screen is very clear. Not tested under water yet or at distance from GoPro.For me it was for convenience when using the GoPro at the end of a selfie-stick.

Easy to connect, but you always have to double check that it worked. Cause if you put camera on helmet and remote on the bike it sometimes ignores the commands
