Light touch up
3 ounces of light weight styling cream in a plastic tub. The cream is off white in color and is pleasantly scented in that familiar but always enjoyable - Old Spice way. The cream is mostly true to its description with a low-medium hold and low shine. The cream applies fairly easily to the strands whether dry or damp and provides just a bit of lift and gloss to keep things interesting.

Good option for styling hair
Nice fragrance, mild hold for relaxed styling and it easily rinses out. It's nice to have a styling option for my teenage son.

To each, his own
This is the type of hair product that I like. It is just the perfect hold for me. Pleasant smell, as well.

Sticky, greasy, and not light enough
🟨 Waxes are the second and third ingredients 🟨 Petroleum jelly and oil are the third and ninth ingredients The "rooftop balcony" and "sense of freedom" claims led me to think this cream would be very light, with just enough hold to control frizz and little else. When the lid comes off, it certainly looks that way: The cream feels puffy and there's some give when you poke it, as if it had air whipped into it (it probably does). Unfortunately, that airy lightness disappears upon application. This cream goes on just like Old Spice's pomade: Thick, greasy, and in white clumps that take conscious effort to make disappear. Contrary to the specs, applied to damp hair this cream gave me quite a bit of hold and shine, just like pomade—which makes sense considering this product also contains lots of wax, petroleum jelly, and oil. Due to the high wax content, hair remains rather sticky after drying. I thought this cream would be the complete opposite of pomade but, as a result of its—also high—oil content, it also leaves my (naturally oily) hair looking overly greasy after a long day. 👎🏻 On the plus side, this product smells pretty good and doesn't have the "old man's barber shop" scent of Old Spice's classic (non-Barber's Blend) product line. 👍🏻
