It offers a reusable, residue-free hold that stabilizes items against earthquakes, vibrations, and accidental bumps, making it an essential protective solution for collectors, museums, and stylish professionals who demand both safety and elegance in their displays. ## Description Product Description Protect fragile valuables and collectibles with Ready America Clear Museum Gel, the removable transparent earthquake gel designed to help reduce tipping, sliding, and breakage of glass, crystal, porcelain, antiques, figurines, vases, collectibles, and decorative items. This clear gel adhesive is specially formulated for use on impermeable and waterproof surfaces including glass, crystal, ceramic, polished granite, sealed wood, Formica, tile, porcelain, and metal. The transparent gel blends into decorative displays while helping stabilize delicate items during vibrations, earthquakes, accidental bumps, cleaning, or everyday movement around the home or office. Unlike traditional putty, tape, or permanent adhesives, Clear Museum Gel creates a removable and reusable hold without distracting the appearance of your display. The gel gradually conforms to the weight and shape of the object being secured to help create a secure bond over time. For proper application, roll small amounts of gel into balls or strips and apply evenly spaced beneath the object's base before placing the item onto a clean, flat, level surface. Allow at least 1 hour to settle. Leave the item undisturbed for proper bonding and securing before testing the hold. Excess gel can be removed and reused as needed. Ideal for collectors, museums, display cabinets, curio shelves, offices, retail displays, RVs, and earthquake preparedness supplies, Clear Museum Gel offers a discreet way to help secure cherished valuables while maintaining a clean display appearance. Not intended for use on walls or for hanging pictures, posters, or mounted objects. desertcart.com Depending on where you live-and depending on where you keep the crystal-you may be in need of Quakehold!'s museum gel. Here's how it works: simply pinch off a bit of the non-toxic gel and adhere it to the bottom of the object you want to secure, then place it on the shelf. The gel will hold it fast in the event of an earthquake. If you ever want to move the object to another location, simply twist and pull to separate it from the shelf. The gell is fully reusable, and it doesn't leave marks on wood or other materials.--Josh DettweilerWhat's in the BoxFour-ounce jar P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); From the Manufacturer Quakehold! 33111 Museum Gel, Clear See more ## Features - Invisible protection for valuables: Clear removable adhesive gel helps secure crystal, glass, porcelain, collectibles, antiques, figurines, vases, and delicate décor to reduce tipping, sliding, and breakage during earthquakes. - Removable clear gel: Clear Museum Gel creates a transparent hold that blends into glass and decorative surfaces without distracting from your display. It's not designed to work on walls, just with glass on horizontal surfaces. **Q: I want to use this in my brass candle stick holders to my smaller bottom candles in place. I like the fact it's clear. Will this work?** A: I think it would work fine, as long as there are no holes underneath of the place you apply it at. The Museum Gel will always look for the lowest spot to run to before it stops. **Q: can these be used on a wood furniture without damaging or stripping patina?** A: I have had no trouble with it stripping paint, varnish, or ink. It seems to be an incompletely cured silicone rubber that holds things in place with a natural stickiness instead of any solvent bonds. I have removed it from painted, varnished, and inked surfaces without damage or residue. Test on a small, out-of-sight area on your own furniture before you go hog wild. **Q: Will it work on plastic, and can you affix a small metal object like a quarter? Can you easily remove the affixed item? Thank you** A: I ordered the Clear Museum Gel, which is for glass & crystal, which worked very good on those items (sticking a glass plate to a glass bowl on a pedestal). This product is for that sort of use, & for adhering items to shelves (such as figurines), to prevent them from falling. It works very well, & is very easily removed, by twisting the adhered item, & rubbing off the excess gel. There evidently are other products from Ready America, called Quakehold Museum Putty, & also Museum Wax (the wax is for more permanently placed items & wood furniture). I am not sure that any of these products would work on plastic (maybe a quarter, though). ## Frequently Bought Together - Ready America 33111 Museum Gel, Clear - Guokoo 500 Pcs Museum Gel Mounting Putty Sticky Tack, Removable Non-Marking Adhesive Dots Clear Double Sided for Crafts Balloons Festival Home Office Party Decorations --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/1866014-ready-america-33111-museum-gel-4-oz-clear](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/1866014-ready-america-33111-museum-gel-4-oz-clear) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
