This costume was a hit with kids and adults (at the bars) alike. Though it fit me (an average-sized guy) well, it inflated way larger than I thought it would, so it's more obnoxious of a costume than what the picture depicts -- which is probably what you're going for if you're looking at banana costumes. It easily puts the other more popular banana costumes (the ones which are flat pieces of foam) to shame. What you get is a nylon(?) costume that's easy to slip on, a fan, and a battery back (w/o batteries). The downside to this costume is the dependence it has on the fan: 1) if you turn the fan off, the costume will slowly deflate, and 2) the fan itself is not that noisy, but it does make noise that will be heard in normal non-party environments. Also, I had trouble understanding how the head-portion of the costume works: I thought it came with a hood to wear over the top part of your head, but that "hood" (the diameter of which is adjusted by a spring stop) is actually supposed to seal around your neck, to prevent air from leaking out around the face. So basically, there's a compartment within the costume devoted to your head, which I thought was pretty clever -- if you can't tolerate things around your neck, this costume might not work for you. The costume withstood a decent battering from kids so it's definitely durable enough to reuse. I'll definitely look forward to wearing it again in the future.

Did not fit as expected at all. Seems to be made for a small child. Really cheap material, rips very easily.

The costume itself the the same quality you would buy from your local party big box retailer. Really is a size or two smaller than described. The upper head portion would not fit over a 5’8” slim or 5,10” XL adult and barely fit a 5’6 average build adult. Pretty disappointed as it has potential.

Funniest costume ever!!! I'm a 5'2" 105 lb girl, and it fits me (it's big on me but that just makes it funnier), and it fits my 6' tall skinny boyfriend! Worked perfectly, batteries had to be replaced after about 4 hours, so buy extras. It wasn't hard to maneuver in, it was just nonstop laughs. The head hole that you need to go through and have around your neck (to keep the air in, not the same as the face hole) is tight though, so if you hate the feeling of something tight around your neck or you have a thick neck, be aware of this!

Fit my 12 year old who is average height and weight. Would likely fit him another year maybe two if we’re lucky. Easy on/off. Easy assembly. Remained inflated the whole night. One set of batteries lasted hours.

The costume is put together well but the fan doesn’t work. Put multiple sets of batteries in it and it’s just faulty. Had no time to return and get a different one.

My aon ordered this for his school swimming carnival . When he frist tried it i thought it wouldn't last but it did. He has used it several times and its still good evwn after playing football with it. Would i recommend it ? Yes its great for a laugh. Would i buy again ? No kids are to old now it just sits in the cardboard.

This is a cheaply made costume, you have to be careful with sitting and being near sharp objects. However, it works as intended. Good: -Fit snug for men shorter then 5' 10" -Fan cools the body surprisingly well, for those warm bodies out there Okay: -Uses 4 AA batteries for the fan -Fabric is thin, wear yellow or light colours if possible -Elastic limb holes are tight, prevents air from leaking most of the time Bad: -Thin material, subpar stiching in some areas -Head hole and hood is a bit small for those with larger heads and necks -Fan has to be on at all times to keep inflated, fan is not quiet I'm not sure how long this will last.

It fitted as I expected it would, but only because other reviewers mentioned the size, so I was able to glean whether or not it would fit me. It actually came with a hole/rip along the seam at the front of the costume. It was a pretty big hole, loosely fitting 3 fingers. Rather than send it back I just sewed it up myself. The costume isn't as opaque as it is in the photo, and it's not quite that nice a shade of yellow. Material reminds me of windbreaker jackets and cheap umbrellas, definitely thin, super wrinkly, and probably not very durable, so watch the shenanigans. This costume will come out of the bag wrinkled. The fan requires 4 batteries, and it will eat up power. I'd recommend carrying a spare pack of batteries if you plan to wear it all day. All in all I do like the costume and will be wearing it again next year for Halloween. It's an affordable costume and you get what you paid for. I think for what it is all together, it's fun and worth its cost. I paid around the total of 47$ when I got it, so that's the price point I'm talking about. The only real downside for me was finding that rip. It wasn't a big deal to me tbh because it was an easy fix, but it was still there, and this is an inflatable costume, so I'm gonna have to knock off a star for it.
