NOODLER'SInk Fountain Pen Bottled Ink, 1oz - Fox Red Eternal

I love the red of this ink. And it's archival so it won't fade over time. It's not dry, but not super wet that it takes forever and a half to dry on the paper. It's perfect for my needs.

The color is rich, vibrant, and true to the image in the product listing. I used this ink to refill a Pilot Kakuno fountain pen and it writes very smoothly, with better flow than the ink that originally came with the pen. It is wickedly expensive and a smaller bottle than most Noodler inks, but given the amount it takes to refill my pens I expect it to last well over a year, and that helps keep things in perspective.

I've been happy with this ink. It seems to be superior to the ink that comes in my pen's ink cartridges. It is a bit more expensive than many available bottled inks, however.It flows very well, and dries quickly. I have not yet observed any expansion of the ink into the paper fibers on normal typing paper. Where you write with your pen is where the ink stays! (I have not tested the water fastness, however)

If you need a waterproof red ink look no further. Lovely bright red that's not too light or too dark.

I wanted an ink that would be reasonably resistant to typical shop fluids (water, glycol, oil, solvents). This ink does that quite well, which is hard to find in a red ink.

Noodler’s is notorious for filling their bottles to the brim, so I was surprised to find my bottle 1/4 of the way empty.The bottle was empty down to the top edge of the label, no leaks or spill. It’s just missing.The color is right, and it writes fine, but I haven’t gotten all I paid for.

I ordered Noodler's Ink Fountain Pen Bottled Ink, 1oz - Fox Red Eternal, but was sent HunterGreen. The Green is nice, so I kept it, but.... makes me leery to order again.
