Amazing for about 3 months
Convenience and flow rate for a collapsible hose: 5 starsDurability: negative 0 stars.I bought two of these 100' hoses and at first was blown away with how convenient they are to use, no more getting tangled or kinked. They're easy to drag around, and when done you turn the water off, use the the last of the water in the hose to water something close to the hose bib, and coil or leave it in a small pile.I bought two last July. The first one started leaking, mostly in the first several feet of the hose, last fall. The second one completely ruptured the second or third time i used it this spring. And I probably used that one a total of 20 times ever, turning the water off after every use. These are great if you're in to convenient and easy to use disposable hoses, but if you're looking for something that will last more than a season, look elsewhere.

So far, it will do.
I’ve been intrigued in these kind of hoses for some time. I was skeptical, and am still a bit skeptical about how they will hold up.The first time using it, I plopped it out on the ground, turned on the waster and it tied itself into a knot. That was a “why did I just do that?” moment! One thing I noticed is it’s dance around while filling up and how much pressure that is still within the hose while it is discharging.Another thing I noticed is that when I hook it up to my lawn sprinkler, it wants to dance with the hose. That will take some getting used to.And…because of the expansion of the hose, I lose a lot of pressure, maybe up to half at 100 feet. I don’t love that.I don’t have high expectations of it. It doesn’t seem as heavy duty as the old stiff sun rotted one. I hope it lasts a year or two.It seems well made for what it is and isn’t.

do not buy this junk
.. I love this KIND of hose . I bought a DIFFERENT BRAND last year and it's still in a good condition under a 113 degrees summer heat. So I decided to buy another one similar to that ,cause the ones i bought last year is currently unavailable. . So I went and bought this hose last July 18,2020 I got this brand cause of the reviews It's only August right now and holes were all over the hose and the base is leaking a lot .. This hose is not even kept under the sun like the ones I had in my front yard. I don't normally complain about products from amazon but this one yes I will. You can't return the product no more . There goes my $53 going in the garbage. This is the worst hose I've ever had. DO NOT BELIEVE THE REVIEWS

Expanding garden hoses are easy. . . but treat them kindly.
I love these expanding garden hoses because of the light weight and ease of storage. BUT, they can be easily damaged if not cared for. Best policy is to be careful when getting the hose out as well as putting it away. This one was titled "Heavy-duty" so I am hoping to get a longer lasting hose than the last one that I purchased. I still have my old school hoses that work fine but they're more difficult to handle and to clean up but they last.

Better than your average hose
It was an adjustment to move from the old rubber hoses I've used all my life to this new style of hose. But it's way better. My old hose and hose reel broke this summer and I didn't want to replace both, so I took a chance on this hose. It has a very different feel that might be slightly off-putting and also kind of hilarious. It worked great with my soaker hoses, I was worried about that at first but once I had it all stretched out it was totally fine. The sprayer works a little differently from my old sprayer, the shower setting doesn't have much pressure. A different setting was more like my old sprayer's shower setting. When you turn off the water, you have to prop the sprayer open for a while so the hose can push all of the water out. Once the water is out, the hose is so light! I couldn't quite believe it would all hang on the small plastic hook, but it really does. It takes up so much less space than the old hoses. I really like it and will buy another when I replace the hoses on the other side of the house.

Follow the Directions.
I have no complaints with this expanding hose. I bought the hose that expands to 100ft and I also bought a leader hose ease the strain on the hose and the outlet. The hose worked very well, the pressure was very good at or near the maximum stretched distance and it is easy for me to drain the hose as I am on a sloped driveway. If your on a flat surface trying to drain the hose when finished it could be a bit more complicated but most will find a workable solution. I only gave it 4 stars because "Durability over Time" is still an open matter. I will return to this recommendation after a few months of usage. But I believe this hose is a solid purchase.

Leaks
Love the possibility of this hose. Bought 7 of the collapsible fabric hoses, 4 from this company and gave them as gifts to family and have three myself. Once you adjust to how the hose shrinks when you begin to water which takes the water pressure off that expands the hose, it works great. Problem is all 4 of the hoses from this company sprang leaks in the fabric. not at the junction points where you would expect maximum pressure. My 89 year old father that waters his raised vegetable gardens that sit an area that is app 10x12 and is 3 feet away from the faucet has a leak in the main body of the hose. No wear and tear here....Mine are used in grass and slide across concrete. Leaks in the fabric. I am hugely disappointed. I expected more life out of a $50-$60 hose.
