The hinge in this model looks like it is missing, but it is a hallow hinge and does come out. It takes a little persuasion and patience to go back in with the old key blade. A few YouTube videos helped! 👍

What I expected arrived in time - all good

note you have to get the key cut on this key- i.e. cant swap the already cut key into this housing, can only add in the existing electrical board. Not sturdy at all when using in ignition the housing comes apart, had to tape together as needed to use the same day. Gave me time to find a more suitable alternative though.

was quoted £250 for a Citroën key replacement so for £8 what is to lose. Taking blade out is easy but getting my original blade in was harder because the pin is so tinyTapped the old blade in with a hammer and used a bit of speaker wire that i trimmed off a bit of the plastic insulation off and pulled through till it was tight and trimmed it off, this held the blade securely and everything works great. Just make sure you order the right code for your key. you tube has videos for thisSo saved £242 what could be better
