Great Brand that has a long history.
Can't find the corned beef spread in Market Basket, they carry the two other spreads. Very tasty as well as the other two spreads. Used for sandwiches or with eggs, very satisfying.

Quick corned beef and cabbage for keto diet.
This is a great product to add some variety to my keto diet. I discovered that I can quickly steam some shredded cabbage, and then add this corned beef spread, and then I've got the classic taste combination of corned beef and cabbage, with almost no work. Sure, this stuff has fat and salt, a lot of salt, but I don't eat this every day. The point is that there's no sugar, and no laundry list of chemicals that one sees on most corporately mass produced canned food. It's just a simply way to get some fat and protein, and a diversion from my usual keto diet food when I'm losing weight.

Dullest of Underwood's meat spreads
I'm surprised at several reviews from buyers in 2021 (when I also bought) finding it "flavorful" or "delicious" -- I can only guess they have little experience to compare it with. The Underwood brand has dominated the US market for convenient canned meat spreads for many decades (most famous: deviled ham); I'd tried most of the other flavors before. These products are US counterparts of the diverse potted meat pâtés traditional in some European countries, where they're more popular, varied, and, often, better -- a point impressed on me, after trying this (dullest?) member of the family. Even Underwood itself implicitly recognizes a weak appeal: Its website currently offers 78 recipe suggestions for the product line: • 42 using deviled ham • 17 using chicken spread • 10 using "roast beef" spread • 5 using liverwurst spread • 3 using maple ham spread (newest of these products) • 1 (just one) using this "corned beef" spread (simplified Reuben sandwiches -- I tried the recipe; unimpressive). Incidentally, "corned beef" in canned products denotes preserved beef generally: not the spiced marinated beef with allspice, mustard seed, etc. made by good US butchers (especially around Saint Patrick's Day). This canned spread is flavored mainly with salt. Amazon offered a dozen cans for $20 last year, so I tried it. One problem that arose is the usual issue with canned foods on Amazon, whose shipping procedures haven't mastered packing to survive carrier handling. So, as usual, some cans arrived dented. But even with contents intact and sealed, in various uses (including Underwood's own recipe, mentioned above) it's dull stuff compared to many other meat spreads I've tried. I guess it'd be good for camping trips etc. where people are hungry and less particular.

Reduced product vs expectations and packaging
Like many food producers, they are short changing on product. Cans weighed noticeably light. Look at the pics
