Defective part damaged main control pcb
I installed the part and ran a test wash. A few minutes into the wash there was a loud electrical pop, a flash, and the smell of burning electrical ozone.I reinstalled the original (replace only for a minor leak at the top of the valve).Now once a wash cycle is started the valve is constantly open.Looking at an expensive control board now, would not recommend this vendor for parts.

Get an OE valve!!
Burst two hose inside the washer after installation because the pressure from the valve wasn’t regulated correctly. Purchased an LG OE valve and problem was solved. Get what you pay for I guess!
