Citadel Colour - Chaos Black Primer / Undercoat Spray

This is one of the best primers I've used for resin-printed models. Acrylic paints adhere extremely well to the surface with no issues of peeling, rubbing off, or having trouble sticking like I've experienced with other primers.The price is a little higher than I would normally like to spend, but the quality makes it worth it. It sprays easily, just like a typical spray paint, and works best when applied in thin, even coats.The can also seems like it will last a good amount of time, especially if you're using it for painting miniatures or smaller resin prints. Overall, this has become my go to primer for resin models and has made the painting process much easier.

This primer goes on very smooth and does not fill in any fine details. I always make sure to warm and througly shake the can before using. One thing I will say, the label on this can does not say primer anywhere on it. I don't think it specifically matters because it works as intended either way.

I didn't need it to do much, and it does exactly what it's supposed to. No complaints.

I bought this 10oz can to see what all the fuss was about. Yeah it's good stuff and probably the gold standard for hobbyist primers. $26 is just too steep for this once-in-awhile casual. I can now look for an alternative knowing how "the best" performs. If you've got money to burn, by all means go for it.-1 star due to price.
