Epson Expression Home XP-4100
This is the second Epson printer I have had, and I am impressed with the easy set-up straight out of the box. The print quality as you would expect from Epson is good. A good price for the machine. It may not have all the bells and whistles as their more expensive models but, for the price, you are getting a good home printer. Use good quality paper for printing everyday documents and photos to get the best from it.

Epson Printer XP-4100 - Reliable and Simple Operation
At least for occasional text printing, and probably also for frequent work, this easy-to-set-up printer can be recommended for reliability and good quality of jobs.

Works but installation is a faff
Like the printer and what it does. Installation took forever and having done it the Epson website said that it could not identify the printer on the network. So went to my computer settings, ticked 'add printer' and within five minutes it found the printer and installed the drive and it works fine. Not helped by delays suggesting that I ascertained if my router is 5GHz or 2.5GHz - no idea how to do that. All in all took over an hour (after unpackaging, removing all the tape and putting in the ink cartridges) to install and connect. Colours are rather dark and muddy when printing from our phones.

Good quality printer for the price
The printer once set up is very easy to use either from a laptop or phone, set up some knowledge of computers would be an advantage

Does not print black
Like others on here - worked OK at first then started printing everything in red. No cure. Ink VERY expensive and does not last as cartridges VERY small DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER. Did not stop working properly until after 30 day return deal - Will have to buy another. Back to Canon Although it was well past the 30 day return time, Amazon were br4illiant; spoke to a customer service person and she sorted it out very efficiently and gave me a refund. Sending it back was very easy

Epson Expression 4100
The basis of the printer is that it is a good printer, the problem is the printer was second hand there was missing parts especially the ink, however it is a good printer overall.

A good substitute for my old one
Quite a simple printer to use, although I hadn't used one with a screen. It was reasonably easy to understand, and quality is good too

Easy to set-up Wifi-enabled printer/scanner
Arrived earlier than expected. Easy to set-up with simple on-line instructions. Though ink-jet, I couldn't tell the difference from good quality laser jet printers/scanners
