Would not fit my ice auger. So I made it fit lol. A little grinding down and it worked great.

In order to usevthe power augur and attach it go ither a 3/8 or 1:2 inch power drill this is essential to connect yhe augur to the drill This works perfectly!!!

why do you need another 300 plus dollar tool when this bit solves the problem. i attached this to my sds drill for auger bit. i was able to use a long auger bit to power holes for a waterfall feature i am building for a client. its been used heavily all summer with no complaints yet. be careful using it on a smaller drill, you can do a lot of damage to your drill if you hit a rock or something hard.

This perfectly adapts an auger bit for use with your SDS hammer/rotary demo/concrete drill. I’ve tried the 4” and 6” augers. Pretty neat, one of those “of course someone makes that” items. My only recommendation is to take it easy with your hammer drill, hole hog, or whatever drill motor you’ve checked this into. Even a 4” auger can put a tremendous strain on your drill. You’ll certainly feel things warm up, sometimes after the fact, when you’ve already heated up the motor windings buried somewhere deep beneath your tool’s insulating plastic exterior. The adapter itself is a snug fit, requiring a couple of light taps to seat it in the augers shank. If you’re going to get multiple augers then just get one of these for each. They seem like they could be a pain to remove once installed.

I have done so many holes and love this adapter but buy a back up unless you want to be like me and have to go out and rent an auger on a sunday because you have your entire fence on the ground. On average I'd say this piece lasts about a year or a good 30 holes. My auger never breaks only this piece so I am glad they have it here and its cheap.

This is a cool little gadget. I bought it to set a handful of fence posts because digging by hand isn't how I'm trying to live my life. Used it with a dewalt 60v rotary hammer (SDS) on rotarty mode (no impact). Worked pretty well for a few holes and then I hit a rock and it snapped off. For $12 I can't complain too much, but it worked out to about $3 per hole on replacement costs. Bottom line? Works great, its cheap order a few of them and just call it a day. Just don't be shocked when it breaks.

I haven’t used it yet but it fit perfectly in my dewalt rotary hammer drill. Once the rains quit, I’ll hook it up to an auger attachment and dig some post holes

This thing is great. I love ice fishing and don't want to spend a bunch of money on an electric single purpose auger. I attached this to the SDS drill I have and it works perfectly. No complaints.
