Takes the worry out of making homemade cat food.
I have been feeding my show cats a raw diet for 3 years, but during the supply chain problems, and during Covid, I was not able to get alot of the essential additives in the store or on line - even chicken liver was hard to find in the store at times. Now I can be sure their diet has all they need. I have been able to get raw livers again so I buy the recipe that does not include liver, but it is nice to know that if I can't find liver again I can use the liver recipe of this. The cats eat their food just as well with this in it so there is no taste issue either.

Looks Great!
The product looks great, unfortunately my cats will not eat it. I started them on Ez Complete premix and I haven’t been able to successfully transition them to this for best rotation. I have purchased a few products from this company and everything is top quality. Customer Service is exceptional! I would still give my full recommendation as cats are just finicky.

A hit with incredibly picky raw eater cats
Reading the reviews, they seem mostly to be about raw feeding for cats rather than the supplement. I wanted to leave a review as someone who has been feeding raw food for cats for about seven years and has tried other supplements. In short - this TCFELINE (I went with original and add my own liver and meat) is awesome. Better - my incredibly incredibly annoyingly picky cats ATE IT RIGHT AWAY. For those of you who make your own food and know the pain and waste of a "batch" your cats won't touch for some reason (unknown to you) - I cannot recommend this supplement highly enough. Also I like that it does NOT use kelp or pysillium. And that you can add yolks if you like (I do and don't over time). Because of the throwing out so many (too many) batches over the years I went with the trial size first as a test. I am now ordering two full size originals, have finished the trial size and just finished making 5.2 lbs of raw cat food which they actually ate without coaxing. Hope this helps others.

A mixed review for this product, but positive for Raw Feeding in general.
I tried semi-raw, but my cat wasn't overly enthusiastic. She likes canned Nature's Variety Rabbit so I thought I would create a homemade beef & pork liver recipe using this version of TCFeline. She likes it better. I'm thinking once she gets used to these supplements, I may try semi-raw again using this version of the premix. The larger size is twice as economical so hopefully her tastes don't change like it did half-way through the trial of the PLUS liver version. Here's my recipe:Chop 3.5 oz pork liver using food processor (use gloves and maybe a mask-smelly- to reduce the ick factor). Mix the liver, 2 eggs, 2 lbs ground beef (I highly recommend very low fat beef like Laura's Lean Beef), 1 tablespoon frozen peas/carrots, 1 teaspoon ground flax seed. Mix very well. Bake covered at 375 for approx 1 hr 20 mins. Very important: Put the baking dish in the refrigerator/freezer until nice and cold (not frozen). You should not mix the TCfeline with hot meat since it may reduce the effectiveness of the supplements. In separate bowl, mix up the TCfeline supplement (1 cup water and 2.1oz of mix). Use food processor to chop up the cold meat cake so it's a softer consistency (your cat might like the tough parts, but mine likes it minced). This will break up the flax seeds and peas and carrots as well. Add the chopped meat mix to the TCfeline supplement and it's now ready to serve and/or freeze. Be sure to check the calorie content of your meat so you're feeding appropriate amount. For ex. at 9.5 lbs, Amber should be eating around 285 calories per day depending on her activity level.UPDATED 4-26-14: My poor kitty has started to get loose stools (the remnants of which end up on the floor). I thought maybe it was this mix but it was happening even after I stopped feeding it to her. My theory now is that it's the high fat content in the Nature's Variety Instinct canned food that I was also feeding her. My suggestion is that you stick to low fat ground beef like Laura's Lean Beef when making this recipe.UPDATED 8-22-14: Kitty's stomach issues have continued (loose stools and hair balls). I'm afraid she has IBD which makes her a great candidate for raw feeding. Unfortunately, she won't touch the TCFeline mix, no matter the chicken liver or original flavor. They both smell the same so she just doesn't eat it. I stuck to the Nature's Variety Rabbit canned and now am feeding her the Raw Rabbit Raw Bites which are made using High Pressure Process which reduces the bacteria. For those of you who'd like to transition from canned to raw, I would recommend Nature's Variety instead of jumping into this mix, especially if the cat likes those flavors. On a side note, I wanted to say that the comments below about not cooking homemade food were discouraging. Cooking the meat using a pre-mix should be seen as a transitional phase to raw. The fact that I was trying to feed my cat whole foods rather than commercial should have been encouraged more and I believe should be encouraged by the makers of this product. Practice not perfection.

Kitty approved
Wouldn’t you know it, now my boy refuses any food unless it’s raw! Have enjoyed felines forever and have seen how mainstream processed cat food absolutely contributes to complex diseases such as feline diabetes. My boy is now in remission because we applied the Tight Regulation Protocol AND cut the carbs out of kitty’s diet. Using TC Feline premix makes making a homemade diet much easier so you are assured the diet is *complete and balanced*. If you are interested in raw feeding, please know that a hunk of meat is not a “complete & balanced meal” and can in fact cause major health problems, so always be sure to use a premix like this. Grateful for TC Feline, we can testify that raw feeding has made a huge improvement in our feline’s health and they absolutely are more happy on raw.

She loves it
My reformed mouse hunting barn cat brought indoors loves raw food. I've made a few errors with ground meat that had too much fat. Ground Chicken or Turkey doesn't have enough flavor for her so I add drained canned mackerel or a raw salmon filet ground in the processor. I need a larger-cube covered ice cube tray to freeze her portions which I turn out into Ziplock bags.. I do at times forget to defrost over night and then she has to eat canned food but overall it's best to know exactly what's in her dish. And it lets me know she will still eat canned food in a pinch. Not a fan of hand chopping the raw liver but ok.

I wish my cat would eat it
I think this is a good product, but my cat refuses to eat it. That's obviously not the product's fault, hence the 4 stars, and I'm really glad they offer a trial size so you can find that out before committing to the product. My vet told me (afterwards, of course) that unless you start the cat eating a raw diet from kittenhood, it's highly unlikely an adult cat will eat raw.

Making raw catfood is so much easier with this product
This product makes it so much easier to make a balanced raw cat food. No bones to grind. My cat likes the flavor and I think this diet is saving my senior cat from kidney disease. His fur looks great and he is much happier.
