Saw a Difference in Hours with Ame Bulldog Puppy
To start, I have a Ame Bulldog x Border Collie puppy in case anyone is looking for things that help breed specific problems (Bulldogs are notorious for digestion issues). Saw results within 6 hours from giving it to my 2.5 month old puppy along with finally finding a great large breed puppy food. I didn't start this until I saw his stool starting to firm up a little more, but it still wasn't 100%. I had been dealing with soft, runny stool and severe gas since I picked him up. The woman who I got him from was feeding the Purina Puppy Chow (yikes!) I think this started the issue. When I got him I switched him slowly to the Merrick brand which did not solve the problem and subsequently tried Blue Buffalo and Candidae to either worse or no effect. Then I finally did a little research and read that for Ame. Bulldogs the Nutro Large Bread Lamb/Brown Rice was good for sensitive tummies. At the same time I came across Seacure, so I ordered it along with a pre and pro-biotic. Started the Seacure on day 3 of giving him the Nutro because I was afraid of constipating him, lol. Anyway, no more gas (except for what is normal), more regular and always firm stools within hours, and his coat is starting to get really shiny. It's been about a week and I'm also noticing less itching and less dandruff. I've also started him on the pre and pro biotic now that his digestion isn't so sensitive. Definitely worth a try. But if your dog has chronic issues I would also suggest researching foods and other supplements so that you aren't just covering up a systemic issue. Some people mention the smell.... it's ground up dehydrated fish, it's not going to smell like roses. I didn't find it bothersome, but I did grow up on the ocean and it's a familiar smell. My puppy loves to eat it as well.

Always recommend for any dog or cat with intestinal/stomach problems!
use it for a dog that has intestinal issues...Chronic diarrhea, vomiting, etc...took two years to figure out a formula of what would work for the chronic issues! Between the vets with antibiotics & no appetite it was if I was on a merry go round! Finally sat down and read review after review after review.....To make a long story short... both dogs now are fed 2xdaily (unless they are working; then an xtra 1/3cup of dry midday/or at 10pm). Mornings: Taste of The Wild Dry food 1/2 cup 60lbs, 1/3 cup 35lbs. This is mixed w/TOTW Wet or canned 2tbls 60lbs, 1.5tbls 35lbs. One whole scope of SEACURE is mixed for 60lbs, 1/2 scoop for 35lbs. They also get 1 capsule split between them of Bacillus, you must determine what kind is best for your animal's situation. You can also use Acidophilus in a pinch! I use Taste of The Wild brand dog food because it is a clean dog food that is free of glutens and chicken, of which one my dogs is allergic! And after much trial and error I realized that some of the most widely used top brands have many fillers and are full of chicken or ck by products!!! Which just aggravated the diarrhea and the vomiting! For the 2nd, evening feeding I give the same amount of dry food and wet. Often times I will add some steamed yams, some boiled strings beans or some such veggie like that with a little salt into their food. It is good for them and keeps their colon clean! I do not use the Bacillus or SEACURE more than once a day now, it's just to keep them regular! Had to use it twice a day in the beginning! You must, of course, decide what dog food, supplements & how much to give them - if you decide to use any - are working best and stick with it!! All I can do is give you the benefit of my own experience with this method. I absolutely recommend SEACURE!!! It has enable my poor sad dog to become the lively dog she once was again! I can honestly say without it she would not have been able to eat marketed dog food again! In the beginning we lived off of steamed meats and veggies with SEACURE and 7mos later she can eat some regular dog food and poop without diarrhea!!! Happy Days!

Not sure what the powder is actually supposed to look like
So Iโm really confused because the first couple of times I ordered this product it did not look like this. The first couple ones I got were dark in color, chunky and smelled like fish. I have no idea if itโs supposed to look like this or like what I had in the past but according to the other reviews I saw what I was giving my dog in the past was expired. Not sure what to think about this

ENTHUSIASTICALLY RECOMMENDED
Great Stuff! My dogs Allergies and skin condition are greatly diminished. I'm holding the 5th star for a follow-up. I am using this in conjunction with Bacillus Coagulans (probiotic /Thorne Research). The two work synergistically in supporting my dogs immune system and have cut his severe allergies and subsequent skin issues by at least 80% in only two weeks! The results have been extremely encouraging. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this in a multi pronged approach to taming pets with severe allergy and gastrointestinal issues. I first read about this in the Whole Dog Journal, did a lot of research and having tried just about everything else decided to give this a try. I had been worked for 4 years to tame his allergies and the resulting greasy, scaly, bumps, inflamed skin with 'elephant' skin patches that drove him crazy with constant scratching and intestinal problems.I had already tried the typical vet recommendation of a couple of rounds of antibiotics and cortisone only to have the condition come back worse. In total frustration, I had an allergy panel run which showed he was allergic to just about everything; traditional protein & food sources, environmental (pollen), chemical and the bacteria on his own skin. He was already on a totally raw unique protein diet for 1 year; not easy as he had been a finicky eater. I had also switched him from commercial shampoos that made him nuts for a whole day with itching after a bath to Koda Keys Care non-chemical shampoo. Now he bathes without the insane day of itching. Both diet & shampoo were showing improvement in his condition. Now with the addition of the Seacure and Bacillus Coagulans he is a different dog! He is no longer miserable with constant itching & licking. His allergic skin condition & gastrointestinal issues are GREATLY improved. His fur is soft and shinny where it used to be wiry, greasy, smelly with scaly bumps and constant dandruff. This is a multi-pronged approach but has been worth it and has worked wonders for my dog. Adding the Seacure (a fermented protein supplement) and the Baccillus Coagulans has brought the most dramatic results in his health. He may need it his whole life, who knows, but it is worth the effort and a lot cheaper than the constant vet bills and other more expensive "cures" out there. It may not be the only course of treatment for those who deal with this but it sure works for my dog! VERY ENTHUSIASTICALLY RECOMMENDED.

I rarely write reviews, but for this product I feel I have to in order to help others going through similar situations.
So far I believe this product is just what we need. My pup was diagnosed with CIL & IBD 5 weeks ago. He is a nine year old yorkie and was 6.5 pounds, he had dropped to 5.5 pounds. His protein levels were dangerously low and he was retaining fluid as part of the disease process is the lymphatic system not working properly. HIs Albumin level was down to 1.7, he was lethargic and only eating when I would hand feed him. He was on expensive commercial dog food. LONG story short and 4k in tests later the diagnosis was CIL. Lymphangectasia. The specialists at the VCA told me to keep him on the same food and gave him dangerously high doses of prednisone and atopica, an immune suppressant which made him worse. I researched like crazy and found that this product had been used with great success in some of these cases of IBD and CIL. It helps the GI tract to heal and the protein is easily absorbed which is perfect to a compromised flared up system. I ordered this product and the box went missing. The company swiftly sent me a replacement, excellent customer service. It's now been a month, about 2-3 weeks on Seacure. I do cook for dogs now, they eat cod/ sweet potatoes/ veggies/ coconut oil. I've also added to the mix, digestive enzymes, probiotics and some homeopathic remedies via a holistic vet. So there's a force of goodness going on, but I believe the Seacure is a true healing product in the mix. His Albumin levels are now up to 2.7 (normal range) and he has no CIL / IBD symptoms. He's not on any "meds" Has more energy than he's had in YEARS! I will be buying the larger size next time and imagine I'll continue to buy this product for years to come. At this rate I expect to have a healthy dog for many more years. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

Can't say if it works or not
I purchased this after reading a lot of reviews hoping to help my old pal feel better. He has always been a very picky eater; has always been thin and lately does not have the energy or the enthusiasm that he used to. I did read the other reviewers that it is extremely stinky, but it did not seem to keep their dogs from consuming it. There were so many positive reviews that I decided to go ahead and order. I have tried every way possible to hide this in my dogs food; putting it in his very favorite foods. However there is no way I can get him to eat this. It was a pretty expensive experiment. If your dog is a Is a picky eater as well consider this may be a waste of money if he/she turns her nose up.

Yes, It actually works!
I have an 11yr old Rottweiler whom recently has had a couple surgeries, a lot of stress and diet changes. On and off runny and mushy stool and trouble keeping him hydrated as a result. I had to put chicken broth in his water just to get him to drink. I was getting worried. Numerous expensive visits to vet were getting out of control and only temporarily helping. After doing quite a bit of research I found this product. It seemed decent from the reviews but honestly Amazon has a lot of fake product reviews to push sales. I figured it was at least worth a try with Amazon's return policy. So day one I gave him the exact recommended amount of 1 scoop per every 10lbs of body weight. I sprinkled it over his food and he ate it right up. The smell really isn't that bad. He went and rested as he usually does after eating. Up to that meal, his stool had been very runny. So much so that its was almost impossible to even pick up and he was going frequently like every several hours. This first dose was in he evening meal. I waited, and waited, and waited but he never seemed to have to go so I let him sleep. First thing in the morning I took him out and did our normal walk. I was really surprised at this point that he hadn't pooped at all but right before we got home he did. And to my complete surprise it was about half solid! That hadn't happened in 2 weeks! He ate his morning meal with the same amount of this stuff added and again, didn't have to go out for quite a while so I knew it had to be working. Fast forward about 5 days now. He is completely back to normal! I am having a hard time believing it myself but this SeaCure stuff really works! He seems to have more energy too which is great to see at his age. I have since scaled back his dosage by about 1/3 to see if it would still be effective and have had no issues. With a 110lb dog it goes fast. I am so incredibly impressed with SeaCure. Its not often that I say that about any product. Combined with his senior diet, probiotics and the SeaCure powder hes been doing great! I cannot thank this the makers of this product enough.

Excellent quality protein supplement for dogs with medical issues - predigested fish so no stress to the kidneys
This is a fantastic product for any dogs who are in not great health, and could benefit from a protein supplement. Seacure has only one ingredient - predigested, concentrate cod fish. It was developed over 40 years ago as a way to provide immediate nutrition to malnourished children in third world countries. Humans and animals who have experienced starvation and serious malnourishment cannot simply start eating regular food, as their bodies will reject it. That is why Seacure was formulated to be predigested, which means that it does not tax the kidneys like other protein supplements can. My dog is older with several health conditions and a restricted diet due to those. He has lost weight in the last year due to his health conditions, and became underweight. For his health to improve however, he needed to gain weight. A friend of mine whose dog has EPI told me about this product. It is used by many EPI dog parents because those dogs cannot properly digest food, and thus are often very underweight, and cannot get healthy because they can't get the energy and nutrients from food like they need. Seacure is great because it is predigested, so EPI dogs don't need to digest it, and thus they can fully utilize the nutrition and protein. I started adding a little Seacure to my dog's food about 6 months ago, and it has helped him gain weight and become healthier. The product itself comes in a white, twist off container. The powder inside is a mustard yellow/brown type color, and smells distinctively like fish. My dogs go crazy when I open the container because they smell it, but some people dislike the smell. The best way to reduce the scent of the product is to keep it in the fridge, as that really cuts down on the scent. The recommended serving size is one scoop per 10 pounds of body weight. The scoop is included in the jar and measures 1/4 a teaspoon. So a very small amount of this product goes a long way. One container lasted me several months, and I am now on the second container. You may think the price seems expensive for a small jar, but it contains concentrated, high quality protein. To get the same amount from fresh fish, for example, you would likely need 10+ pounds of fish, which would easily cost more than this jar. Plus with Seacure, the fish is already predigested, dried, and concentrated for you. I highly recommend Seacure for anyone whose dog needs a protein supplement, needs to gain weight, or just needs some extra pep in their step. I am not saying this is a miracle product that can cure every condition, but it is a universally beneficial supplement, being high quality, low fat, white fish.
