As other reviews state, the directions are amusing and very clear, both the words and illustrations. I am not one who is very good at or enjoys building things, but this was easy and didn't take very long. I was building by myself, and the hardest part was screwing the doors on. Would have been a lot easier with an additional set of hands, I didn't have any problem with getting the doors to hang straight. I thought I was missing a set of screws, so I contacted them. They had wonderful customer service and sent me the screws in about a week's time. The cabinet looks beautiful, although it looks a little more modern than that I thought it did in the picture, but I still think it's perfect for the space.

I've been a prime member since forever and have never written a review. So here we are:This bookcase fits the bill nicely. Assembly was (almost) seemless, and the product is identical to the photograph as shown - clean and modern. The legs on this piece are handsome and are made of solid wood, which really does elevate the plain white laminate a few notches, visually speaking. The company says, "Try this storage unit for 90 days IF YOU DON'T LOVE IT YOU CAN RETURN IT!" I think I believe them. I can attest first hand that this company really does appear to stand behind its products and its customers correspondingly, one way or another.In my case: I bought two units, but one was shipped with a defective shelving piece, with one shelf oriented as such that the connectors were located at the top and not hidden on the bottom as expected. So a phone call was made and in just days, an entire new unit was shipped to my my door instead of spare parts. What's more is that a diminutive box of Godiva chocolate also arrived just a few weeks later. Pretty classy, I'd say...I think that we're dating now - this company and I :°) Stellar management team, I'd say! Just an all-around pleasant experience.It's too early to tell if this product would survive a cross-country move, as laminate is notorious for its propensity to fall apart when roughly handled. But as laminate goes, this storage unit is deep, good looking, and just about perfect for my needs. Absolutely no complaints here.

Assembly took some time and reconfiguration, because I wanted to raise the unit on higher legs, then included in the package. I almost assembled it backwards from their instructions, and build it up in pieces from the bottom, not the top as suggested. I also found that attaching the doors on their hinges to the sides first, helped to align them. this is the first time I’ve used these sorts of hinges, and I did have to adjust them so that the doors fit flush. But it helped me to assemble these flat on the ground using parts of the Styrofoam included as braces to level them up. I wouldn’t say that you could move this piece around a lot. It’s basically just a box but it’s pretty. 🤣 and I pretty much ignored the instructions but everything was well aligned and went together smoothly. I would recommend using glue on some of the joints, but it’s not necessary.

These are a great quality and modern look. I like the balance of real, natural wood in front surrounded by a white cabinet. This solves the problem of many sideboards that are either too much wood or are too modern/cold looking. You get a warm but sleek look here. The cabinets can be placed end-to-end to look as if they are one unit. All components are sturdy and assembly was straightforward. They are not as deep as some giant sideboards so it's good if you are trying to save on space.

This product is 100% as described. For the cost, it is 5/5 for material, strength, aesthetics. If it were $500, I’d rate it a 3 star. But it wasn’t.Instructions were a 4/5. It could have been a little more detailed to make it faster. Bonus that it is written humorously, but also a little annoying since it wasn’t super clear. For one step the screws didn’t go all the way in to be effective. But I don’t care because it’s still very strong without that little piece.Total build time at a leisure style was 1.25 hr. It could have been a half hour with two people. It’s pretty simple.Tips:- at the end to install the doors it is helpful to have a second set of hands to hold the door. I didn’t want to wait and managed it by myself.- my doors had a 1/2” gap at the end. Which I was very unhappy about. After taking a break, I used the last page of instructions that give tips if the doors aren’t positioned nicely. They worked. Now my doors are perfect. So do use those tips for the doors.- if you have any other issues, contact customer service. I purchased a table from Nathan James a year ago. There was damage to one main piece. They took care of it quickly and professionally. And even sent a card in the mail to apologize for the inconvenience. I was impressed and appreciative for their commitment to customer service. So now when I shop for furniture, I look at their products first. I trust them to resolve issues, if any.

I was a bit hesitant to order this because particle board furniture can be a bit touch and go as far as quality. While it won't pass for wood, it is definitely better looking than the build yourself furniture from Ikea and other big box stores. The included hardware is also great quality.The directions are easy to follow and the accompanying diagrams are clear. I especially appreciated the extra directions on how to manipulate the hinges to best level out the doors. It took me about an hour and a half to complete this by myself.The herringbone pattern of the doors is more subtle than the Amazon picture makes it look, but it is still very nice looking. I appreciate that the metal base is offset from the main cabinet: it allows the main cabinet to be flush with the wall without hitting the baseboard.Overall, this product is worth the cost. I would purchase it again if I needed something similar and would choose this company again for other furniture products.

THE EASIEST CABINET EVER TO ASSEMBLE

Looks good; just like the photo. Took us few adjustments to have the doors placed properly. It came with a small dent on the side but since it’s not too bad I kept it.
