Perfect French with the Michel Thomas Method (MT) by Thomas, Michel (2011)

I admit that this very expensive set does say "Michel Thomas" and 'method' in smaller print on the cover. I bought it mistakenly thinking it was Thomas himself doing the teaching but it is a woman with an incredibly irritating little voice. So irritating in fact that I have given up on the course entirely! I may have another bash one day but after being subjected to the dreadful American woman on Michel Thomas's first course, I believed that it would just be the man himself but I was wrong. Nowhere does it even state the name of the woman giving the course which is strange.....

We have tried several French courses but without doubt Michel Thomas is the very best system of learning and the best teacher. The recordings were made some years ago with less than state-of-the-art equipment so that the sound quality could be better, but this is a very minor snag,

Really good service and product. Arrived in good time, and turned out to be a whole set of all the courses, not just the ones I had ordered. The Michel Thomas method is amazing. I've wanted to learn French for ages but didn't know how to go about it. I always forgot things as soon as I'd read them, but this way really does work.

As usual, Michel is the way to go for learning to speak another language. Very easy to listen to, though you will need other resources if you want to learn to read and write French (plenty on the web for that).

Michel Thomas seems to waste no time in improving all the areas of difficulty for intermediate learners (including me) Already it's helping me improve my grammar and pronounciation with pronouns and word order etc... Very helpful so far!

very good product and ease of learning. i have one hour a week with a french student who speaks good english and she cannot believe the progress i have made in the three months i have been doing it. you must have done total french first which i did as these lessons starts off with a couple of minutes on revision.
