I got these gor sketching and practicing my art pre completing the final picture. They are the perfect size, the paper texture is perfect for its versatility. The books are very thick. There is no bleeding and the paper is a good colour

I purchased these sketchbooks after an artist friend reccomended them to me.I have to say I was not dissappointed with these. They are a pack of two lovely A5 sized sketchbooks. I love the fact they have thick kraft paper/card covers with an embossed and white inked label on the front cover. These are beautifully hand made ,hand stitched. They open flat which is great for working in them. The pages are a warm off white colour and has a slight texture and, so far can take most media. The price is great considering this is a pack of two and both have a lot of pages.They have a smart simple elegance in their look.I think these have become my new favourite go to sketchbooks.You can tell these were made by artists, for artists. I love working in them.I will definitley buy more of these in the future.They have a nice weight to them as well.There are countless sketchbooks out there, but these are a little bit special.These would make a great gift too.

Its such a simple looking and good notebook. Perfect size to carry around and take notes. Peper is excellent for writing but no watercolour

I like how the spine binding allows the book to lay open flat. I don’t like how spiral bound sketchbooks look, but they were the only kind that lay flat before I found this sketchbook. The paper is cheap, so it’s good for doodles and notes, but not great for watercolor. I do paint with watercolor on it though and it doesn’t bleed through badly. Sharpies bleed through a little, but not usually onto the next page. The cheap paper actually is good because I don’t get stressed about creating great art on each page. I will order again when I fill the two I already have.

Lo uso come sketchbook e ci faccio di tutto. Acquarelli, china, gouache, carboncino. La carta è ottima e il colore non passa dietro. Certo la pagina a contatto con l’acqua un po’ si deforma ma è un effetto che a me piace molto. Non è adatta invece al disegno con matite perché il tratto non si cancella e non si possono fare sfumature. Eccellente la consegna Amazon, come sempre.
