I bought this pole spear as a back up for my Lionfish hunting trip in Belize. I used it a few times and it worked well. It is a bit heavy, but really carries that weight through the water and impacts the fish well. It would be good for any size fish. The pole is smooth and slides though your hand really smoothly, unlike some of the two piece spears that have a connector that hits your hand as the pole slides past and slows the spear down.

Seemed like a great product when it was first used, but the head was bent & broke after our third trip our spear fishing on a larger carp. Not super impressed with the quality. Did like that it came with a travel bag though to keep everything together

My husband is a commercial diver and wanted this for while he was working He loves it, and it works great!

Nothing wrong with the shaft except the sections seem to come slightlynunscrewed constantly and the while thing becomes wobbly. The tip is garbage, I speared one fish and put it away for a week, when I got it out it was rusty and three of the 5 prongs rusted and fell out. Very poor quality. If this happened after a year or two I would be more forgiving. But after only one week? Garbage. What’s worse is I’m in the Bahamas and no way to return or replace the unit. So buy quality if you travel..

Nice spear, well built. It is heavier than a fiberglass, the aluminum is pretty thick. I used a different tip so I can't really comment on it. Breaks down nicely for travel.

Me gusto la Lanza, pero tiene varios detalles que debe mejorar. La Punta es de baja calidad, para ensamblarla tuve que meter primero un tornillo para limpiar el interior de la lanza, tenía residuos de metal y no podía ensamblarse. La calidad y peso del Aluminio me parece balanceada para pescar. El Producto es funcional y la Relación Precio-Calidad la hace Buena. I liked the Spear, but it has several details that must be improved. The Head is of poor quality, to assemble it I had to first screw in to clean the inside of the spear, it had metal residues and could not be assembled. The quality and weight of Aluminum seems balanced for fishing. The Product is functional and the Price-Quality Ratio makes it Good.

Exactly as shown. This is a much more solid design than I thought it would be and it arrived really fast. Now I can't wait to try it out.

Was hesitant with some bad reviews and limited photos, but it turned out well. Solid spear, little off on straightness, but not enough to make an issue. The spear head is intended for small fish, which I think is why people run into issues with it. Also not a fan of how sharp it is, more than I'm comfortable with. But the spear itself is pretty good. Only thing I'm worried about is that the 6mm tip threading narrows at the base by almost a millimeter, which makes me suspicious. If the threading is too long for other spear tips, that could be an intended break point to punish people for using spear tips made by other manufacturers. I'll update the review about that after getting another spear tip.
