T-Relief Pain Relief cream,[114g] 4 oz

1/24/15 UPDATE- BUYER BEWARE! All the reviews shown for this are actually for a product called Traumeel! Traumeel is a German product and was distributed in the US by a company called Heel. I just found out that Heel is exiting the US market. I was very sad to learn this as Traumeel was an unbelievable product ( see my review for Traumeel below). I had it as part of my subscribe and save to get it every month and just received a tube of this T-Relief instead! I can't believe Amazon would be so deceiving! I compared this T-Relief to Traumeel and it is NOT the same formulation! Sending back for a refund! I order stuff all the time off of Amazon, but this is my first time submitting a review. I decided to submit a review because my family thinks this stuff is amazing. In our house, we call this the "miracle cream" and we would not be without it. In fact, I subscribe & save to this product. It works absolutely fantastic for any kind of bruising. When applied right after injury, it will actually PREVENT bruising from occurring. This is why we call it the miracle cream. We have small children, so we use it anytime they have a bump or bruise- the difference when this is applied immediately after injury is just amazing. When our son was 2, he was walking on the sidewalk with his hands in his pockets and tripped and fell. Since his hands were in his pockets he didn't have anything to break the fall, so his forehead hit the sidewalk full on with all his weight. It made a sickening sound and started to swell immediately. We took the Traumeel out of the diaper bag and applied it on the spot...we honestly could not believe the difference it made...he barely bruised and it heeled so quickly! That is when we became true believers of this product. My husband also uses it when he has muscle soreness from tough work-outs. We keep a tube upstairs, downstairs and one the diaper bag, so we always some close by. Just don't use it on broken skin because it will sting!

I had plantar fasciitis (pf) in both feet and this was amazing. I'd suffered for over a year and was progressively getting worse. Traumeel was recommended by another friend who overcame pf. I applied nightly, at least, and did stretches and used generically purchased, Columbia Sportswear orthotics, in my shoes. I was thrilled with how quickly my pf resolved! I have given samples (love gifts) of this product from my personal tube(s) to friends and family for various issues (dad had hip surgery and lives with painful golf ball size lump, people with arthritis, we use at home for most any muscle pain, stiff neck, sore shoulders). I currently have a sample in my purse to give to my landscaper with pf. Most people are skeptical anything can work as well as this does when I give them some. (The company should send me sample packets as I'm getting tired of finding containers to give mine away.) I gifted a full tube to my father and he wasn't thrilled about the gift until he was in such pain he broke down and tried the product. Now he covets his the tubes he buys on his own and shares (sparingly...didn't I say coveted?) when friends in his nursing home are in pain. They can't believe the results either. I don't know of one person who hasn't benefited from my gift. (I'm not sure if it's the arnica montana or what but this product works. I even purchased arnica Montana to use but Traumeel is a staple product for us now.) Since my first tube I always make sure I never run out of this. (Same for out of state family members.)

This product was recommended to my by a naprapath several years ago and I have used it ever since. I have a tube at home and I carry a tube in my purse...you NEVER know when you're going to get a boo-boo! I use it when I've overdone exercise of any sort and I prefer the ointment over the gel. Mostly I use it when I have banged into something...you know...your knee, or your elbow. About 18 months ago I took a full frontal fall, catching myself with both hands. After a couple of arnica pills and a chiro visit, I applied this cream to my right arm from the wrist to my shoulder. Three days later as I was drying off from the shower I lifted up my right arm and noticed the inside of my upper arm was black and blue, turning yellow from the inside of the elbow to the armpit. I had FAILED to apply the cream to the underside of my upper arm. You know when you apply sunscreen and you can see and feel the sunburned area where you failed to apply it? That's what happened. Just last night I dropped an empty dresser drawer on the top of my bare foot. TRAUMEEL to the rescue...1 application immediately and another just before bed. Result: no bruising or soreness and able to lace up my shoe for a 4 mile walk. This stuff is miraculous...the key is to apply it immediately and often. (BTW...do NOT apply to broken skin...this is to prevent bruises and soreness.) I swear by it and don't go anywhere without it.

I haven’t ever tried the Traumeel, so I haven’t had as much of an issue as everyone else has with the label (or ingredients?) changing. I do know that I ordered the t-relief due to a recommendation of a friend who has similar joint and lower back pain that I do, who said that it works well. I also get bruises pretty easily from kickboxing, and read through some of the comments that it helped with that. I ordered it from amazon (taking advantage of that free prime shipping) and it came in the mail quickly and in good condition. I tried it the first time, and I was pretty happy with the consistency of the ointment as well as the smell. It wasn’t too oily or sticky when I put it on, it relieved the pain a little bit but I decided to wait a few more days for full results. Meh. Here’s the thing, I initially was going to give a 2 star review because it didn’t really help me with the pain as much as I would have liked, but I amped it up because I noticed about ten days into taking it, that it had cut down my recovery time on my bruises so much. They seriously healed twice as they fast as they normally did. Wow. The Thermachill has a stronger scent, and feeling when you put it on, but it also alleviates the pain within a half hour, which is worth the smell and tingle. I recommend the T-relief, but for me, it actually is much better for getting rid of bruises.

I jammed my ring deep into my finger when it caught on a narrow ledge. I was wailing (I'm not big on pain) about the pain, saying, "It's burning! I swear, it's burning." Bravely I pulled off the ring with tears in my eyes. My friend said, "WAIT...TRAUMEEL!" I thought she has lost her marbles. Traumeel, shaumeel. I looked down to see the finger turning red and starting to swell. Annie comes in and proudly shows me the TRAUIMEEL...a white ointment? Where is the ice, I thought... but instead took the dollop of the white stuff. "Rub it in and then do it every few hours." I followed her instructions with great doubt but she looked so happy...what the heck. It's only a finger. I can always to go emergency. So I continued watching the finger ... NOT... swell up and turning its natural color. Impossible! But true. I could see where the ring had smushed up layers of skin, but there was no sign of irritation. So I continued putting it on the next day and thought it was all well. Wrong. The next morning I awoke and there she was, red, swollen and angry. Now a believer in TRAUMEEL, I ran for the tube and applied it. It took a few applications and I was back on the mend. It was totally cleared and the pain had vanished. Depending on how bad the injury, bruise or booboo is will determine how long you keep applying it. I've used it for a mild burn and it took only 2 applications.

I know, so why the three star rating if this is a great product. Well, since I am now a connoisseur of topical pain relief products then this one gets a three stars compared to another product that gets 5. So, Traumeel is a very good product, it worked well for my pain on my lower back and I had a little shoulder twinge that it also reduced the pain on. This ointment is a thick, very white cream like a zinc oxide, which I did not like. It is greasy and I could feel it on my body all day. This is the big downside for me. The odor was mild and non-offensive but if I got it on my clothes before it was rubbed in I could see it. With Pain block the pain relief was a little more on my back over time than Traumeel (about two weeks of daily use before pain was completely gone) with Traumeel the pain did not go away completely over the course of the month that I used (it was good and definitely reduced the pain significantly but did not eliminate it completely). Pain Block got rid of my shoulder pain almost immediately where with Traumeel (I used it first) reduced the pain significantly on daily use for a week while it made it possible to do all normal and physical activity. I liked the Pain Block better because it had a really nice consistency and it feels just like a skin moisturizing lotion and it does not make any marks on my clothes. Also, I am not aware of it after I put it on as there is no greasy feel. I imagine that will not bother most people about Traumeel, but I really did not like it, I could feel it against my clothes which really bugged me but I am weird like that. All in all, Traumeel is a very good product that delivers and does what it says, for my money however, I will buy Pain Block again, but if I ran out of it this would be my substitute.

I knew about this from a surgery I had. If you put it on thick for a few days it completely removes bruises, which means it works to reduce inflammation, which is what causes the swelling and pain in hands. So I take Inflamend and Bromelain, the two best over the counter inflammation options, and if I don't skip days, my hands stay calm and painless. I wish I didn't have arthritis, but it's starting and I don't want to let it get very far! Thank heavens for this stuff! Miraculous, all three. UPDATE March 2015 THIS IS NOT THE REAL TRAUMEEL. THIS IS FAKE! It is NOT the cream that worked miracles. THAT you can only buy in European countires, maybe SO. America. While the immediate relief it provided was rather subtle, after 2 days of consistent use I felt substantial relief in my elbow (which was sore due to a gout attack). I was a bit skeptical the first day because its effect was not drastic, but to my delight by the third day I felt at least a 60% improvement in my elbow, which had been driving me crazy because it had been sore for months due to the earlier gout attack. I can certainly recommend Traumeel. However, if you are suffering from gout this will not be a "cure all" nor prevent attacks: DIET and proper medication will help do that. For me DIET is absolutely the most important factor. Find out what YOUR trigger foods are and abstain from them! Otherwise, you're only inviting more inflammation, more soreness. Good luck! P.S.
